ya but im trying to get into the fullerton pd for cadet which just processes the suspects and what not...part time while im going to school...pays better than minimum wage....hoping for the best

 

zumn: that's the furthest I've ever picked out a signal but then again keep in mind where we were. On the way out to Vegas = no buildings, no electronic interference, just OPEN and FLAT road.
In the city or on a normal freeway, you'll be lucky to pick one up a mile out.

I don't tell many people how far out we picked him up because I'd hate for people to expect that level of performance all the time.

WELL.... one of them is Red and the other is Blue.
sorry Gr8, I couldn't help myself and you did walk right into that one.

There is no other difference other then the color of the screen. When they first came out, they were only available in Blue but since I had the 9500i, they took mine back, gutted out the inside and rebuilt it as a 9500ix so I ended up with one of the few Red versions.
I think they have both colors now but the website is blocked here at work so I can't double check that.

OH, and some times there is a slight price difference. Something about the cost of the LED's.

 

yeah i think i will get one too because i'm seriously paranoid about my 8 and how loud it is with just my intake they might think i have more to offer for them to check my car and often get harassed

 

Well as Jedi said they do a good job but don't get a radar detector expecting that you can just start speeding anywhere because you'll just end up getting more tickets, you still have to drive smartly/safely my $0.2

now everyone's going to have a radar detector just like mine. So much for being unique...
