Ok so...Jedi and I have thought some things over and due to the size of the attending crowd, some details will have to be changed.
Point 1: As of right now, the starting point will have to be changed because though the starting point can support 35 cars total...it can't handle all of us together......This will not be a huge problem as there are several other good starting points in the area we can choose from.
Point 2: The ending destination will also need to be altered as 6th street parking is a 'free-for-all' parking lot - and there will be a good chance we won't be able to all park together for some quality shots. What we've come up with is a super secret underground parking lot on 6th street. It's not on the beach, but we will get to park together with a cool spot for parking structure pic's. And for those wanting to take pic's like the one in my sig, we can just drive up to the sign and take pic's there for free.
Last point...
After the cruise and after grubbing at a local restaurant - how many people would be down to stick around for a possible bon fire and beach shenanigans (i.e. volleyball, football, frisbee)??

Rev8: i understand how you feel - i definitely want to show off as much as the next guy - but the parking will be very....and i mean VERY difficult to pull off...that is unless i can manage to work out some kinda deal with the parking attendants to save us 35+ parking spots in a free-for all parking area....

Thats true the parking issue was always in the back of my mind the last couple of days.
Rev8 - if you'd like...i think what we can do is parade the parking lot before we hit the parking structure - that way we can still turn some heads and park close to main street.
There's still photo opportunities tho because we can always drive up to the sign like i did and take shots...
