SOCAL BEACH CRUISE AND CAR SHOW! AUG 22nd
ANNOUNCEMENT: SCHEDULED MEET TIME AND DEPARTURE HAS CHANGED! - please see new start time -
After much diliberation with others, we have concluded that since this is THE LAST SOCAL BEACH CRUISE OF 2009 and the END OF SUMMER 2009 we decided to end it in a more memorible fashion than simply grubbing and wallowing in the beach - In addition to our regularly scheduled agenda we will also be doing this...
Event INFO:
-Event start time: 10am
-Entry time cut off: 2pm
-Event Judging: 3pm
-Trohpy announcements: 4pm

MEETING POINT: MAZDA NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS (SEVENSTOCK STAGE PARKING LOT)
ADDRESS:
7755 Irvine Center Dr
Irvine, CA 92618
*across the street in the staging parking lot*
MEET TIME: 10am 9AM!
DEPARTURE TIME: 10:45AM 9:30AM! SHARP!
ROUTE: 405N => 133S => PCH NORTH => RIGHT ON BEACH BLVD => ARRIVE AT SUPER AUTOTOYZ on Lampson and beach blvd
Est. ARRIVAL TIME: 11:45am
IMPORTANT NOTE: You do not have to enter the show! You can simply show and park however if you want to enter please do so before 2pm.
FREE FOOD HAS BEEN ADVERTISED and there are also several restaurants in the surrounding area. Please take note of this addition and understand this event will have photographers, free giveaways AND TROPHIES!
We plan on staying until the trophies are given out at around 4pm - from there the option of closing the day out with a bon fire will also be added!
Hopefully you guys can all make it
Rules and Code of Conduct:
-No burnouts
-No speeding during cruise
-Drive responsibly - there will be other motorists on the road trying to get to places - please do not block them. We are all headed in the same direction.
-Avoid making unnecessary erractic movements through traffic
-Very Important: If you get cut off from one group - please do not attempt to catch up to your original group - simply fall back to the trailing group as speeding up might get you pulled over by CHP.
OPTIONAL BON FIRE:
Though this is still being discussed - some members are bringing wood and some snacks for this - for the most part it will be a BYOS (Bring Your Own ****) event and you will be only be responsible for bringing your own snacks and drinks - if you wish to participate, you are more than welcome. -Please Be AWARE - This meet will require us to relocate to another location down the beach where the pits are - so please be aware there will be another parking fee
