Hey Casey you should fill in the dates for the rest of the events that count.

 

I really didn't intend there to be any bitterness. I just thought it was kinda funny... you could list "2006 RX8 Cup Winner" right under your "2005 SCCA BS National Champion".

I deserve 4th place, I've sucked so far in the CalClub events. I've got the SD championship locked up though.

 

Sounds almost as good as the MX5 cup to someone that does not know what it is.

I think the card is $30, and entry is $35. Plus figure around $40 in gas.

 

I think you can buy a one event card, it is like $10-15 instead of $30, if you do not think you will get down there again this year.

 

One more reason to leave the 909 on Sunday and go to SD..... The high will be 73.

I had a post all typed up, but it got lost... it said something like. I will try to get down there, but considering the wedding is only a couple weeks out I really should not be spending the money. and considering we still have a Malibu meet I really dont think I can make it out there. but I feel bad you guys always come out here and run with us, I really do want to go down there for you guys.

so I dont know, I will talk it over with the better half and see what she thinks. (she will be out of town this weekend)

 

Co-driving can be a lot of fun. You KNOW the car is the same, so it's a fair competition between the 2 drivers.

I say you guys should bring Keith's car down, and count this as part of the cup.

also RX-8 cup points will NOT count as most cup drivers will not be there. Michelle will be in Vegas, Erica will be out of town.... just not fair to do one without them.

Cool, glad to hear you guys will make it. Too bad we are running on the southeast lot, I think you would be impressed with the big west log that we normally use.

As far as tires, the 245s will fit with 2 people if you pack them the right way. Put them in upright, but perpendicular to the way they would be mounted. If you push them up so they rest on the center console, you'll have plenty of room. We drove to Atwater (6 hours) like this with 2 people.
