cesaralaniz was also filming the caravan. He was being safer than I was by pulling over to the side of the highway to film as the cars went by

 

That was way fun! Thanks for taking the time to organize this. I couldn't believe how many cars there were. I was at the very back of the caravan at the beginning (well, when Cesar wasn't behind me). At one point on the 405 when we had two lines of cars we I started passing cars in the other lane... It was seriously RX-8s as far as I could see in both directions. I can only imagine what the other commuters on the freeway though when car after car continued to pass.

It was also very cool to meet some of you. Thanks for making my first SevenStock visit a good one. Everyone was really cool and laid back, even to an old guy like me.

Did we ever get a count on how many cars were in the caravan that morning?

Oh, BTW, I'll post my pics in the next day or so. I've been crazy busy since I left on Saturday.

The caravan was a blast! Hope you all got one of those monsters at rollerbldes rxt8ble lol. It was really cool seein all of those RX8s in one location. Got me some ideas for my mod list for next year too... which is now pushed back a bit due to some a$$ on the freeway with a lifted truck and no mud flaps kicking up a rock that broke my windshield on the way home from sevenstock... I have to now go get some estimates for a new windshield... any leads on some good places would be much appreciated. Thanks

The whole weekend was a blast.. next year I'm coming down a day earlier cause that 3 hours of sleep before the caravan was a bitch and a half!
