BTW - If anyone is planning on meeting the caravan somewhere along the freeway, I have a great idea.
I scoped out a spot on the 5 south where someone could park on the street that goes over the freeway.
They could take a video of the huge group of cars driving by, then hop in their car, and join the caravan.
The overpass is Lincoln Ave.
It's not a high traffic area, especially at that hour, plus it has quick access to jump on the freeway at Grand Ave entrance.

i think rollerblds was talking about jumping onto the caravan while it was going - i'll pm him - otherwise i think i might be interested as long as someone can let me back in to the damn caravan afterwards...

if your planning on joining the caravan as it passes...you might want to have someone pick up some FRS radios...
i have to coordinate with jedi...but i think we should be on channel 8...

yeah but you need people with the same radios and we are cities apart unless you meet up this week. cellphone will be better.
one idea is to wait up on enterprise drive before we enter, or some where farther out is another choice.

If you guys want to be on the side of the freeway somewhere and merge into the caravan, that might work.

We usually take 605S to 405S, exit Irvine Center Drive.

Hey uhh i want to be at the Caravan meet and shoot all 65 cars!!! and shoot all 65 cars exiting the caravan spot. Then maybe when we jump on the freeway i can get some Rx8 shots and vid then speed ahead and get at the over looking street then jump back on??

looking at the route that's planned from the I.E. - the only place we'll be able to merge together would be where the 133 and the 5 meet - which is RIGHT next the sevenstock -
if we all leave for our destination at the same time (5:30am) we're more than likely gonna miss each other at that intersection -

we've always taken the 405 route. I guess that was because SevenStock used to be at the R&D facility.

that's what i was thinking but i didn't want to step on anyone's toes. we can exit Alton and it'll drop us off right next to the entrance.
