Hello brothers and sisters, how are you all doing?

I see that there is now a SFV Meet every tuesday in Reseda, that's cool, I need to make it out one of these days!

Does anyone on here use the RX8 for what it was built for?

I've been driving canyons for almost 5 years now, I started with MR2's and now I have myself a rotary.

I enjoy the canyons, I'm religious about them, you can find me there 3-5 times a week.

Lil Tj, Stunt, Latigo, Decker, Mullholland Dr & Hwy, Mt W, Sand, Yerba Buena, Las Flores....

Anyways, I have a small group of close friends who tend to run with me from time to time, Im wondering if any of you also run canyons religiously?

If so I'd like to be part of a "clik"

My dream of an ideal meet. is to come together not only with RX8s but fellow men and women who share similar passions.
In an ideal meet, memebrs would help each other. We would come together to talk performance, vehicles, and life. We would help each other with car issues and all help one another with his/her machine. We would also have friendly competitions to improve on our skills, techniques and knowledge.

Those with knowledge or experience in certain fields woudl share.
We can all help diagnose and narrow down issues with vehicles.


Anyways, who's down to have weekly canyon runs?

Canyon Runners, come thru! I would like to see more RX8's up there, or at least more of you who are passioante about improving your driving skills and your knowledge and awareness of the tracka nd your vehicle.

THis is highly recommended for those who enjoy nature and love scenic views and dope landscapes.

Lets escape the cities and retreat to a natural, serene place.

 

im down! just as long as its not some crazy canyon runs, i.e. reckless driving/passing and what not.

but as for a weekly thing, that might be too much!

also i PM'ed you info on the 818 valley meet.

 

my fav is cerro noroeste and 33, if you like canyons, you should try out tracking the 8 sometime, its friggin awesome

just so as long as its not some crazy run... went with some of the car guys from Csun.... didn't think it was such a good idea afterward. i mean it was fun, but people passing people / crossing the yellow lines like it wasn't even there and what not/ tail gating.... ehh not my cup of tea.

im not sure if i should wait though, just got my lowering springs installed and im sure i need new shocks since my right still sits lower than the left [rears]
plus i want to be on the safe side and roll the fenders, only have 1 finger gap on the rear right, about 1 1/2 on the rear left.

Sorry guys I went awol there,

I go to the canyons about 2-3 nights out of the week, sometimes 4 nights on good weeks depending on my finances and availability.

I've gone the last two nights in a row.

I usually meet up around 9-11 with a fried of mine and we cruise it out to malibu, and cruise either Decker, Stunt, Latigo or mulholland Hwy.

Usually im at Lil tujunga Canyon though, most of the time at least, and every now and then I'll make it out to Mt Wilson.

Anyways, Im def into meeting up with yall and ejoying a cruise.
Who's down, we can begine next week.



BTW Imight be going to willow springs this 31st of July with some S2000's and some Evos

Is anybody still down for this? it wont be like the csun runs, we can have it bi weekly or monthly? Up to you guys?

I just thought there would be of interest since I meet a lot of canyon runners who frequent the mtns. Im up there about 3-4 nights a week.

Makes for a nice drive on late summer nights.

Im still UP FOR THIS, Im trying to get some RX8s to Roll thru, I have a couple S2Ks and MR2s who roll with me but thats about it.

Whos Down for this ? we can start Tomorrow the 19th?
