yea a few of us are going to Willow Springs on Sept. 14th. But most of the time we meet on weekends and we do a few mountain runs and sometimes BBQ after. Register on the forums http://www.team5racing.com/forum/index.php. and you can talk to more of the team

Hey Katc10 or regal or anyone who did the run a few months back, I was wanting to know if you could either show me the route on a map or tell me the run we did after we had lunch at the place we stopped at. I cannot remember it but I would love to take my others 8 owning friends on it.
After lunch we went through Pala road toward Pechanga casino.
South 79 will lead you to the fun roads.
Look up SAGE road and WILSON VALLEY road in Temecula. These will also lead you to the 371 that takes you to the 74 to go down the mountain in to Palm Springs.

Palomar mountain is off the 76, east of the 15 freeway.

Spotted a white 8 on Vday. It had a carbon hood and trunk, MazdaSpeed kit, and had gold Volk te37's.. I think. Saw it in the La Jolla area. Is this anyone on the forum?

Ha.. good deal. No, I was driving a Silver Tacoma. I'm actually from San Antonio, I'm here visiting my girlfriend too. I wanted to say what's up, but since I wasn't in an 8, I didn't want to seem like some freak.
Very good looking 8, I was definately drooling while I was following you. The girlfriend thought I was stupid... haha. These words came out of her mouth "Why ould you like a car that is multi-colored?"
All I could do is why my mouth and say "Cause it's soo pretty."

I am from Pendleton too. You know what bothers me the most. Before I left for my second deployment to Iraq I had the only 8 in pendleton, I leave and come back then there are 4 more. Now I just got back from Iraq again and I have seen a total of 13 differnet 8's on Pendleton. I liked being the only RX8 owner and now I feel like I am copied, I know its not the case but I miss being the only one. Well at least I can say I was the 1st and started a trend. I may make this Sundays run, it depends on weather or not my mom gets out of the hospital.

We'll be meeting at the gas station off the 15/74 exit. There is a park & ride next to it for parking. 10am. PM me for contact phone number. I won't have my 8 there cause we destroyed the brakes & tires at track yesterday, but I'll be riding along in shinkuu's 350Z or maybe someone else's 8.
