put it back on, yes....remember, we have a leash that keeps our pricey gas caps from rolling too far

I beleive my first brake job was close to 35/40k, and only because the dealership said it was crucial that they be replaced. When Casey and I took them off to put the new pads on, they had plenty of meat left on them.

loren, does your steering wheel pulsate when you brake?

my beamer started doing that since the last brake change, and my shop said that it's usually caused by the rotors needing re-surfacing. it's annoying, but i'm just living with it until my next brake service and will probably have them change the rotors.

THats called a pulsation.... usually caused by a warped rotor. Michelles truck does the same thing. if it is slight it can be fixed by turning the rotors. if it is major yoou will need new ones. I would imagine just turning them for you would work.

I just got Michelle new rotors for her truck a month ago, and I STILL have not put them on :/ (in fact it was more then a month ago.)
