Then I started selecting several other games to download.
Tomb Raider, Tony Hawk, 2006 FIFA, and some others.
Forza 2 finished downloading in 10 mins!

Then, while I was playing it, the others finished, and a pop-up window would tell me that the download was done.
All-in-all, it took about 30 mins for all the downloads.

Is that because of the time,(3am) or is my fiber-optics connection just that awesome?
were those demos, or the real deal?

in either case, it's your FIOS connection

lucky punk, lol.

I downloaded the demos.
I brought it up, because people were saying that it took almost 2 hours to download Forza 2, and I finished it in 10mins.

Cesar, I have fiber also, and my internet screams. but my download took almost 2 hours. I'll bet you that considering I downloaded Forza 2 when it realeased I was not the only one dowloading. I bet they were clogged up a little (a lot). now that it has been a few days and the downloads have eased up, you get the full download.

I am going to bumping for boredom for the last month of work. Things are just so slow and there really isn't anything to do. I would stay home, but no benefit there...as I have no xbox nor was my interent working last night.

I spent about two hours trying to load the pictures from the CD ERica got from Jorge...from our Guitar Hero evening....and that wasn't even working.

I did channel surf the tv for the first time in about 6 months. I realized last night why I don't watch live tv, and why I am glad for the Tivoe.

Did find an interesting show called "Dust to Dust". It was about all the first responders on 9/11. All that dust they were breathing in trying to rescue people, as well as during the cleanup....was toxic. Many of those people are now dying from excellerated health problems given that they were breathing in asbestos, benzin (from airline fuel), lead and cadmium (from computers), mercury (from lighting) and other things....it is sad.

What is even more sad, was the government coverup and their current treatment of the ill.

Also watched "Riding the Giant"...nope not an adult show, was on Discovery. It documented the history of big wave surfing. Why did I watch it...I still have no clue....bump for boredom?

don't forget the one thing that was completely absent from Ground Zero.... glass!
Look at all the footage and videos of all the rescue dogs, no one had cuts...why?? because the jet fuel vaporized the glass. That stuff is brutal when you inhale. it.

I was at ground zero last summer... eeery feeling.

yeah, it was definitely a feeling I'll never forget. Standing at the wall with all the names and trying to imagine what it must have been like and HOW beautiful those 2 buildings must have been was something else.

All the rubble was gone and when I was there they were actually already working on the foundation for the new tower. There were artist paintings of what the new tower will look like... that put a smile on my face.
