Hay any of you guys got access to buying large pieces of clear vinyl graphics that could be used as a protective coating for the track?

I used statics for our 07 track season. It was nice ot have something flashy to use just on the weekend, and not having to worry about decal adhesives. I think I bought a 10 foot roll of the stuff for 8 bucks. You then would need to put vinyl on top....or you could just use the statics kinda like a clear bra. You just have to spray the surface with water, and squeegee the statics on. They stayed on at autocross speeds....have no idea at what speed they will fly off though.

Thats hilarious! I wish it were $10 like on shirt.woot.com, then I'd buy it. But for $17? I'll pass.

Disclaimer: I'm sure Cesar, Loren, Keith, and company are about to come in and say something about how no one plays PS3 online, blah blah blah.

Don't want to disappoint Jedi...
^^^You get what you pay for.
I've said many times, I was completely against Xbox, and thought it was stupid to pay for online play.
I had a PS2 and it was always free to play SOCOM online, or any other games.
I finally broke down and bought the xbox360 because a bunch of the guys I know were playing Forza2 online, and that sounded fun.
I paid for the online service, and like Loren said, it is definitely worth it.
I know it's hard to imagine from a Sony world, because when you're use to a lame online community, paying for it seems ridiculous.
But if you play any games that would be fun to play w/ friends, it's a ton better w/ a good online community.
And no, not everyone you meet online is a great player, and fun to play with, but that's what's so great about having such a large group to choose from.
Last night I was playing Call of Duty 4. They have about 10 different types of matches you can play online, and before selecting one, you can see how many people on currently playing that type and how many are about to start a new match. I mostly play headquarters, which is not the most popular, and there's usually about 4-6k people about to start a new match, and 10k+ already in matches.
It's really hard to describe how much better an online service is when you pay for it.
Jedi, you should try explaining to some of your friends why you don't go through an $8 touch-less car wash at the gas station, and why your car doesn't have any of that awesome turtle wax from Pep Boys.
Then explain to them how much time/money you actually spend washing/waxing your car.
Think of PS3's online community like a Chevron car wash complete w/ "Super Conditioning Foam" and xbox live is Zaino.
