no, I added him just for the hell of it.

 

NOPE....BIG NOPE...why would you want to go to a multi-cart meet with a bunch of kids that is set to make things look good for a company that you have no parts from? Free food isn't enough incentive for me to go out and get a chance of a ticket since there will be a greater chance of police being around ticketing "kids". No thanks. I'll stick with our meet and a group I'm familiar with.

couldn't agree with you more! Not only that, why would I promote a company that has never made anything ORIGINAL. All they do is rip off other companies ideas and make cheap *** replicas. (that after costs to fix / fit the part, you would have been better off with the original)

 

So I am still having trouble splitting files.
None of the free slicers work. They will download, and appear to be working, but they never actually produce a split file.

Any suggestions?

No guilt trip, just voicing my opinion, which, for the most part, tends to sound like an angry and disgruntled old man....I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way on this one.

Did you install wavepad from the same company?
It's an option when you install Slice.
If you have it, use wavepad. If you need it, here's the link.

Basically make 2 copies of the file before you start.
Open the first copy in wavepad and determine where you want the break.
Nice thing about wavepad is you actually see the wave form, so you can split it right at a quiet spot.
Once you decide on your split location, delete everything to the end and save it.
Then open the other copy, select the same split location, delete everything to the beginning and save it. Now you have 2 files.
Make sure you save as an MP3.

I agree w/ most of that except the part about the cops.
If I was going to get a ticket anywhere, I'd want it to be in Ontario. I know someone there.
When I got a lame fix-it ticket in Cerritos, an Ontario PD "took care of it".
