GMR has the least amount of through traffic of all the local mts. and now that the frontside is open it makes for a great cruise. Head up Mt. Avenue go to the top hang at the chill spot. Do a quick hot lap down and up the Race section( about a 15mn. drive), then head down the front side landing at Grand and the 210. Just my $.02. There's nocars up there and it's a very safe drive if that's how you drive. I'm game for anything though. I just love driving my car.

no juice going to the plugs..
i think a fuse or something blew
but i dint know which one...
and i did take the plugs out and clean them

i think i'm not going to be able to make it again... <ugh> it's raining and it's also hazardous waste disposal day in my city. and, we have to get all our junk ready for the city to pickup in the am... well, i'll go to sleep now and see how i feel in the am and what the weather is like. but, i have a feeling it's going to be wet....

if there's no joice, how's it turning over? When you turn the key to the 'on' position, does everything seem normal? (lights aren't dim, etc)
Do you have a CEL?

Did you take the plugs out BEFORE this happened or after it wouldn't start? How did you clean them? Those Iridium plugs in the 8 do NOT like to be cleaned.

Cant make it. Stuck at work. I have a question...my 3rd gear grinds really bad at high revs. Im pretty sure is the synchro. Also my cluth pedal is squicky. Im gonna take it in to the dealer on monday. if they do have to fix the synchro how many days will it take? Will the dealer lend me a rental because i work 6 days a week and the 8 is all i have. Any responses will help. Thanks guys

 

you may have one of those bad trans.
quite afew people had one.
getting the dealer to repair under
warrty is going to be sticky but if you bug
them enough they should do it..

 

by the way car is running now.
the dealer said i had one of the worse
cases of flooding he has seen.
took them 20 min and two extra bats
to get it going...

 

haha funny cause i already called the dealer 5 times in an hour time frame. If some 8 have bad trannys should mazda be aware of it by now and shouldnt the dealers be informed and replace it with no questions asked?

 

not enough them going out for them to do a recall.
plus if they can get away with not paying for your
trans then they will try and hold off...
when a few of the guys that had they're trans replaced
come back from there run they can tell you the fuss
they had to make to get it replaced
