Not me!
I still treasure mine like the day I bought it. I just think it's the natural process with cars; 3-5 years people's cars are almost paid off and they start looking elsewhere.

I'm not losing interest in my rotary, I'm losing interest in other people's rotaries.
I went 3 years in a row. Volunteered to work all 3 years. Got there at 5am and saw almost every single car.

There is actually 2 things that would get me to go this year.
The new 7 being there (but it won't be for a couple years, probably)
The AFSC being raffled off or available for purchase. (That's what I've been hoping for since the 1st sevenstock I went to in 2004.) Maybe I've been the one jinx'ing them, so I won't go this year and hopefully be pleasantly suprised.

Still one of my favorite quotes on the forum.
They're closer now though. Cobb tunning is just around the corner. (so we're told)

you guys are dreaming if you think they are going to reveal any new car at seven stock. dont get me wring. it would make sense considering its the largest rotary gathering.... but it still ait going to happen. they will reveal it (if "IT" even truly happends) at a real auto show. one that has lots and lots of media and people.

Lemme find a pic I took that day. I asked them to let me pop the hood and they were kinnda hesitant. It was hilarious. The color caught my eye and I remember thinking, "why's that Gray look funny??"

I remember that car. Didn't think anything of it when I saw it though.
But seriously, a 6 port Auto and an SUV is no comparison to revealing the new RX7.
I don't think they would do it there because an auto show has much more hype and exposure. The only media coverage at SSX will be Rotarynews and a bunch of Star Wars/Star Trek looking fans w/ camcorders.

Yeah all these guys thinking that the new 7 is going to be debuted are out of their minds. If anything, we'll just get a little bit of news out of Bern or some Mazda execs at the dinner.

IF the new 7 is in fact coming out, how cool would it be for Mazda to debut this thing to the world in their own backyard; Tokyo!! I hope it does pop up at Tokyo because then we might have a shot of seeing it here when the LA auto show comes into town.

I am somewhat optimistic about possibly seeing the new rx-8 though. It's getting a minor facelift and I don't see why they wouldn't have one of those around since the engine / transmission will most likely stay the same.
