you might be the only 8 with an unpinated body kit but i am sure there will be one or 2 rx-7 like that, maybe.

Will there be limited availability?

I ask, because I pre-ordered Forza2 from Gamestop, but the day it came in, Circuit City had a ton of them, and they had a much better deal.
Buy Forza2, get a free $20 game, and I found Just Cause mis-priced for $19.99 so I made out pretty good.

I'm definitely interested though. But, if it's at Circuit City w/ some great offer, I'll probably take that route again.

I am going to buy the new wireless guitar from Rock Band for sure. Maybe we can talk about that purchase.
The advantage that I get for you is I get first picks at all the games. When Halo 3 comes out, I have a reservation but i get to sent myself one aside to make sure i get it that night. I also get a 15% discount of new games and accessories. and 25% off of all used games and accessories.

It is a good job, pays alright, and i rent out a game whenever i want out of our inventory. I have Lair out right now and it is pretty sick. Think i am going to be cheap though and rent out every 360 to boost my Gamer Tag points through the roof :-D

hey guys, bit OT here. was wondering what you guys might think about this.

do you guys believe that my honda would push out higher hp and/or tq numbers with a single exhaust or keeping it dual? and after that, do you guys believe that my car would still be able to pass emissions on that single exhaust seeing as it came from factory with dualies on?

wondering what you guys think, because with single exhaust, my car will be sleeper status .

xrider: if you're not changing the cat then it'll pass emissions.

@ Jedi....yeah, I'm serious about not going. Just seems that the last two years I have killed myself for staying so late. The first year, it was exciting, cause it was a new experience....having Spice Boy's Car get second place was a huge reward after pulling that all nighter doing the installs.

Then last year, I was excited about showing off the car....but the lot was not set up well and there were too many cars. It felt like I was at a Costco. If they were to redesign things and have spotlights on only a few cars...kinda like that rotorhead display with all the cars under sheets...then maybe I would be interested....but then again....how many years do I need to go to this thing and see the same damn yellow RX8 from Arizona.

Feels like a "been there done that" type feeling. Nothing new out for the RX8 that I'm interested in. There was the big hype about all the forced induction kit last year, but what is there this year.

I guess I'm also disenchanted because both of our cars are not "show" worthy anymore. Mine has been sandblasted beyond what my pride can handle...and Erica's spin on the Crestline cruise has left her car in less than condition.

Maybe the 2008 Calendar will spice things back up for me.

@ Hondakiller. Yes, I can guarantee that you would have the only unpainted RX8 there. You may get lucky if Carbon Creations brings one of their cars...but then again, their kit is carbon fiber and meant not to be painted.

@ Xrider. My definiton of sleeper would be to keep it looking stock...changing your car from a stock dual exhaust to a single exit would not be, in my mind, a sleeper. But to answer your questions...yes, you should have no problem passing emissions....but keep your stock parts in case. Generally, the efficiency of exhaust systems is determined by air flow. Bigger piping, less restrictive bends, hi flow muffler improves performance. I wouldn't have any ideas on hp or tq numbers.....but my suggestion would be to go to the Honda forum sites, and to not rely on numbers posted by companies. As we have found with the 8, manufactors sometimes inflate numbers or misrepresent their data.

@Rglbgl. Let us know when you get your parts in...it is a 3 hour job that can be done afterwork if we start running our of time prior to SS. If you want Casey and I to help you....you can come to my house...or Casey's. We both have the tools needed....Casey does have the spring collapsers though.

@ Fuel....there's more to gamerpoints then just renting the games. If your interested in just getting points, casey may be able to point you in the right direction. He found a site that ranks games in order of time needed to get achievement points...which games are easiest, which are to be avoided.

I completed all achievements on Forza 2, Call of Duty 2, Oblivion, Fight Night [EDIT] forgot about Viva Pinata as well[EDIT]....all of these games were not created equal...and there was plenty of time spent on them...Fight Night was probably the only one from that group that could have been considered a rental type game....one where you could earn all acheivements within a typical rental period. You lose a lot when playing just for the achievements.....Fight Night had a lot more game play left in it, past all the achievements.

One I am playing right now could also fall in the rental game category (Ninety-Nine Knights)......but I have put a lot of hours into it and am only 25% complete on acheivements.

ack! got in a fender bender this pm in my beamer...

damage isn't too bad- bent front fender, grill, and my radiator bought it as well... <sigh> i've just been too exhausted and with the hot weather- a split second lack of concentration was all it took. already dropped the bluebster at the body shop and opened a claim with mercury. hope they fix my baby good as new...

i plan on keeping it looking stock. well, aside from the future rims, and the lowering springs if they can be seen. and, i have the v6 model, which by default comes with dual exhaust. the 4 cyl. however, comes in a single exhaust ending on the passenger side of the car. and seeing that i have taken off the "accord v6" emblems from my car, in my mind, the fact that i would have a single exhaust on the right side would make it sleeperish. nobody would know i have a v6 until after i took off.

anyways, as yourself and a few others have suggested, going to honda forum would be best. afterall, you guys here are all true r070r|-|34d5 .

...zoi, i miss my 8
