@ Loren. Ready for tennis as well....Tuesday would be great. Yeah, no southbound transition to the 215 from the 210....whether you're going east or west bound on the 210. The drive to Casey's is much nicer now though....hop on the 210 at Cherry and drive all the way to the 10. It easily cut about 20 minutes off the drive.

@ Cesar. Sorry bout the Vegas tournaments....sounds like it was a big dissapointment. We can still play some guitar hero though....when you get some rest. When we going to Joes?

@ Zoo. Welcome back. If you ever plan, or want to make plans for Europe....just hit us up, we have plenty of experience and advice to give now. Funny about Nino's reaction to the Big Bear driving experience.

@ Michael. Maybe we can get down to Silverwood lake on another cruise, for some more pictures when you're feeling better. I bet you wanted to break someone elses neck when you realized they didn't give you your engine cover. Any problems getting one when you went down there?

@ Gerry. Thanks for the pics of the cruise. I won't post mine, as they are much of the same shots...and I didn't really take any driving pics as we were the ones in the lead this time. Did you get any of me with my luche libre mask on?

Pic 1: Nike statue in the Louve. This is the real one...and there is a copy at the real historical sight.

Pic 2: Mona Lisa....I doubt this is a real one. Funny thing is, the sign as you entered the room said no photos or videos. There was a HUGE crowd in front of the Mona Lisa...all taking pictures and none of the museum attendants were saying anything....so I took a couple pics as well

Pic 3: Louve.

Pic 4: Arch de Triumph....Paris, France. We hit the cross walk button.....walked to the middle of the street, grabbed a quick pose and snapped away. We weren't the only ones doing this. Traffic was quite upset by it.

Pic 5: Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. I was snapping some pictures when I heard a huge sound of shattering glass. A tourist, who was running across the street to catch her tour bus, should have had her bag of wine double bagged....cause the bottom of the paper bag broke as well as her two bottles of freshly purchased wine. One of those stories you tell people when you go home....

Pic 1: A pic of our balcony in Paris. It was overlooking a major street and was right next to a subway station. Plenty of people watching opportunities when our feet were tired. We also found that the French do like their police chases. We got to watch one each evening. The balcony was a great place to sit between the hours of 2 and 6:00....we would grab some snacks to hold us over since you couldn't get food in restaraunts between those times. Only drinks were available at that time.

Pic 2: Palace of Versailles, France. We were really excited about getting to this spot....but again, were dissapointed by France when the tours were not clearly marcked (in any language).....and most of the things that we wanted to see were closed for renovations. The other dissapointment, was that each location at Versaille required a separate admission fee. When we purchased our 25 dollar tickets...we assumed it was for the entire location....but found out, it was only for one section of 7 rooms....which had furniture and stupid crap to look at.

Pic 3: Gardens at the Palace of Versaille. Again...another admission price was required to walk around a sunny garden with no trees. We weren't in the walking mood, nor were we interested in baking in the sun...so we snapped some pics from the entry point....We couldn't imagine that we missed much.

Pic 4: Inside the set of rooms we did get to see at Versaille. This building had the great Hall of Mirrors and Queens chamber (both of which were closed).

Pic 5: Another garden shot at Versaille.

Pic 1: Another shot inside the Palace at Versaille....some of that old furniture and stuff you might find in your grandma's house

Pic 2: Inside Versaille.

Pic 3: Gardens at Versaille.

Pic 4: That balcony in Paris...me and my little 8 ounce Kronenburg beer...a standard size found in 8 packs in the stores. That 8-pack was cheaper than ordering one of the same beers in a restaraunt. OF course, it was warm, because our room didn't have a fridge....so we did our best by filling up a sink with cold water and having the cans float around. I would have to say, this did not work very well. But, warm cheap beer is better than really expensive somewhat cold beer.

Pic 5: This stairway lead to the Queen's chamber and Hall of Mirrors. This was as close as we got.

The lake is the one that we drive past when we go on the Crestline-Red Road runs....it is usually in the backdrop when we make our stop after doing the decent from Crestline to give our brakes a rest. I've always wanted to go down closer to see if there are better photo ops.....it was also in the backdrop of Cesar's calendar pic from our first calendar.

I followed the exit signs to go to the lake, but you had to pay to get through the gates...mostly people wanting to use the boat launch. We tried another route around the lake, this time, no charge, but here wasn't really good access.

No idea on the Supra question. You could always call a wheel shop and pretend that you own a Supra...you could tell them you are interested in a set of Volk SF Challenge in Diamond Black...see what offset they offer you. If they aren't the same as what you have, then question them whether the rim size and offset you do have would work on a Supra....?

how much was it to get through the gates? If it's only a couple bucks, would it be worth it for the photo op?

There weren't any prices posted anywhere. I think one of us would need to go scout the place out ahead of time to see where we would even be able to park for the best pic op. The lake looks like it is pretty damn busy on a saturday - the line of people waiting to get it was all the way up the hill. Are you think future calendar showcase?

And Jessie. And several others probably by that time.
In fact, next year, we should probably think about a 2month spread per car.

It's VERY packed on weekends there. I remeber you had to get up before it was light out side to leave so you could get a ok spot in line to get in. They have some really nice campgrounds also. Whats nice about the camp grounds is that you park on like a parking lot and then your camp site is right below. It made you feel like you where off by your self when actually your neighbors where closer then you think. I dont know how much it was for just a car. We went with a truck and boat. So the price was differnt. Pluss last time I was there was about 12 years ago.

You guys could look into maybe doing a camping weekend and then your already on the grounds and you can go off and do photo's. Just a idea.
