I just spent the last 5 hours at my local Mazda store. The dealer just made me an offer that was WAY too good. They paid off my car AND gave me a commuter.
They took in a 94 miata for $500, and after $145 in smog and safety reconditioning, the dealer gave it to me at cost. I kept my wheels, and the exhaust/shifter went to stephs dads VR 04 RX8. So I am out from under my payments, but now I need to go get MY car, and keep the little miata as a commuter.

Time to find me an FD!!!!!!!

Nope. You spend 35 hours a week at car dealers. You could easily get a contract showing anything you want.

I beleive you Jake. I can imagine that it would be hard for someone who works in the car industry to not feel the pull of new cars. I had a friend who went through 13 cars in 8 months. Everytime I saw him he was pulling up in something new....he never could find something that he was happy/content with. I hope you don't miss your 8 too much, and that you are content in driving a 14 year old car back and forth to work.
