Wow, you guys are still here. I haven't even seen your baby Casey/Michelle (sorry Michelle) hopefully I will soon ... and congrats to you Keith/Erica. Strange to think your baby was born on the worst day of my life but I'm so happy for you and will be sending prayers. Maybe someday I'll even go on a cruise again???

had the flu last week. it was really bad on monday and tuesday. it's pretty much over now, but i still have to blow my nose every so often and it gets annoying. i'm much better now though even though i'm still needing to blow my nose.

It is amazing to see how harsh we are on that little car....only 2 tenths away from Bill now....I think that is more amazing.

top speed in 2nd gear is 73 mph I believe. Casey has a data logger on the car and I think that is where the rev limiter is at 2nd gear.
There were a couple of sections where we really needed to shift up to 3rd, as we were on the bump for too long..but it would have been for only a short blip of 3rd and then back to downshifting.
When we go to El Toro events, the tracks are usually long and narrow, but lend themselves to higher speed sections and slaloms....some 80mph stuff....it is fun.

I talked to a guy who was driving a Dodge Viper, he actually launches in 2nd gear due to the torque in 1st gear...and even he stays in 2nd the whole time.
is this page messed up for anyone else?? ever since that video was posted, it doesn't appear aligned properly.
You know, I'd totally forgotten that I hadn't told you guys yet, sorry about that I'd meant to post pics much sooner.
Gerry: you're gonna be proud of me...
