yeah you do a few mods on that thing and the evo is like a turtle, actually the evo may already be like a turtle compared to a good street bike?

Katanas are cool. They are a sport touring bike. Soft seats, higher handlebars, but they still pack a punch when you want it.

I have just been down too many times to ever do it again. Please be safe.

I had a Suzuki GSX-R Hyper Sports, It was customized, Lowered 1 inch, with dual yoshimura exhaust pipes. The bike handled like a dream.

Lowering them can make them look good!!!
Steph would have to lower a bike to ride it, so there is another reason. But lowered, extended swingarms, and maybe the correct rear sprocket/gear and you got yourself a launch monster

meesa likes this one. my friend had the cbr1000 but, it was too high and i couldn't ride it. the 600cc is about the right height for me. but, i gave up on bikes like 10+ years ago and never got my class m. so, couldn't do it even if i wanted to...

quick hijack:

Since we had so much fun last year, figured we'd do it again! It's time for another Dyno Day!!! Although this year we've got a new twist....

Mazdamaniac AND Charles R Hill will both be there doing some tuning and offering new performance parts for our cars!
https://www.rx8club.com/west-rx-8-forum-34/socal-dyno-tuning-day-mm-crh-141732/

We're shooting for 25 cars so sign up while there's still room.

I don't need another Dyno day to remind me how much power my car doesn't have.
I've finally settled on the fact that the AFSC was a big waste of my day dreaming time, and I probably won't be going F/I ever.
Other superchargers are way more than I want to spend and I'm not interested in a turbo.
Besides, my wife gets a new Malibu in a couple months for work.
If I need something faster off the line than the 8, I'll just drive that car.

Still the best quote on this forum (posted on 5/28/2004)

yeah, I'm with you on the AFSC. I was one of Paul's biggest supporters....till I saw it and got the inside scoop on it.

I want to see if I've picked up any power in the mid-range with my HiFlow Cat, water pump, and soon to have AccessPort. If anything, it'll just be fun to hang out with 8 owners

You ordered the AccessPort?
I'd be interested in going and renting some AccessPort time from you.
I need to buy new coils and possibly new plugs first.

biting the bullet on the AP. If anything, it'll be nice to have the fans kicking on sooner, richen the AFR's a bit (stock = scary lean at WOT), and adjusting omp settings.
