Even though theres not many RX-8s that come anymore (although Lesper came this month!), RX-8s are more than encouraged to come. We usually have 4 or 5 FCs show, sometimes an RX-8, and next month we may have 2 or 3 FDs. Oh, and an SA... old school

Just to clarify;
In 1981 the U.S. went to the full 17 number VIN, until then companies could use any number they wanted.
Once standardized, The VIN including the "SA" was changed to the "FB".
So really, the only true "SA"'s are the 1979 and the 1980

There were 3 different series in the first generation RX-7. As rglbegl said, the SA was the first. The SA's timeline existed from 1978-1980. 1981-1985 were FBs, and after that the second generation RX-7 rolled off the line.

...don't get your hopes up too high....it is more the tire you choose than the suspension. Its an auto also, right? Either way, it will be fun for you to get out there and screached the tires a bit around the cones. Try and get to Casey or I before you come down so we can give some suggestions on where to go, what to do, what time to show up...etc.

my tires are currently the Falken ziex-912, stock tire size 205/60/16. idk where those go in terms of tire performance. i've heard that the Falken ziex brand/series are a pretty decent tire though.

getting on the oval in fontana will cost a pretty penny as well. i would save up to drive a real race car there instead of my own car.
