San Bernardino monthly Mazda meet and drive.
My buddies daughter was born on Halloween, so the party will be at his house.
This girl is spoiled. Her dad loves to throw parties on 4th of July and Halloween. So once the kid was born, the parties just got bigger. Now we section off the garage and a bathroom for the kids, and we take over the back yard and the rest of the house.
How bout you George. Any plans? you getting dressed up?

Nothing too big planned, did the big Halloween party thing last weekend. I usually throw on a costume, Emilie and I watch Horror movies and I scare the **** out little kids when they knock on my door for candy.
The MR2 engine is tiny, but you have to lift the car off of the engine. So you need a long armed/high lifting engine hoist to clear the trunk and still have enough reach to lower the engine to the ground.
The rear end has to come up so high you must take off the front bumper
What Fiero did you have?
I had an 86 GT (commonly called the 86.5) Fully loaded with every goodie they offered. That was my stereo compition car. I had custom box made to fit where the passenger seat was.

my neighbor (dean) with the FD who got me into rotaries had a red 93 or 94 mr2 that he modded like mad. they must've worked on that car for an entire year- saw them there every weekend. i never got to ride in it tho... dean was pissed cuz his car's side view mirror's paint got sunburned from them not covering it properly...
A true 94 is rare here in the states.
If they did the later model engine swap with a few supporting mods, that was probably well over 300RWHP in a car weighing under 3000lbs.
MR2's are great little cars. Stephs commuter gets 30mpg and is quicker than most cars on the road, especially in the canyons. I can't wait to get the AW11 up and running, it should be under 2000lbs . . . . with some sticky rubber
