damn, sorry to hear about that jake... the economy is really bad. 
but, hang in there and setup a job search strategy... i hope u find something soon.
it happened to me too, as my last day at new line was 8.31.2008. man, i really miss that place. the past 2.5 weeks have been rather stressful adjusting to the new work environment. i shouldn't be complaining cuz i was lucky enough that these ppl wanted me. but, i'm pretty burned out on what i do- so that may be part of it.
i was browsing around the 350z forums, because Jun (x-ped) told me over IM about this kid who had his car ruined by a body shop that did such a horrible job installing his body kit. it was so bad, that i can't believe that body shop actually hasn't been sued and lost their business license. anyhow. what really pissed me off was some silly user had "friends don't let friends mod their rx-8s" as his siggy. wtf?!!

^^^ I am sorry to hear that. The economy is hurting a lot of industries right now. Even in my industry, consumer electronics, a lot of companies have gone bankrupt in the last few months. Hopefully we've seen the bottom and things will start getting better soon...

yeah jake i feel for you. my girl's office was closed
but they let her keep her job. so now she has to
commute to new port three times a week.

sorry to hear that jake good luck during the hard times. we are concred about office depot some what as well. stock went form $40 a share to currently $3.50 so we are waiting to see what happeens.
@ cesar, jeorge, michael - make sure you gusy take lots of pictures is sounds like it will be a lot fo fun with some different modded mazdas.

Detrich: I saw that thread, I could NOT BELIEVE that someone would actually try to mount a body kit that way.
I swear it looked like a 8th grader was handed a power drill and told to do that work. I didn't read the whole thread at the Z club because I got the feeling it was going to be LONG.
My question was simply this, WHY did he take his car to that guy??? The very first post says something like, "I had hear the stories of this guys shop but I took it there anyways"
