hmmm...gold Enkei's :)

I think it would look awsome...I know she really wants to Mazdaspeed ones...I wonder if I could get them through the Mazdaspeed program...and if so, for what discount...anyone know the weight of them....let me check...be right back.

MS rim is listed at 16.9 lbs. (510.00 list price through Rosenthal Mazda). I do realize that these are only 18x8..what is the stock rim weight?

ok, found the stock rim weight (20-23 lbs depending on vendor)..found here https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...3&postcount=38

whats' the "special" price on these?

Aluminum ones are $430 ea in gold.... No point in buying even a super light weight 18X8 if you are going to run STU.... You MUST have a 9-10" wide wheels so you car run the 265-275 tires.

Wow, they gave me 2 cones on my 2nd run. From 9th to 230th in pax in one event. At least I beat the '69 Lotus.

Lucky for Casey that Uyeda always runs PAX.

Yep, I think as long as there are 5 people or more in your class, 2nd gets a trophy. Not 100% sure how calclub trophies work, but I believe the default is to give you a discount at a future event. You can opt for an actual trophy if want it.

wooohooo, didn't finish last. Came close though. Finished 190th. Is that even a word, 190th? I don't know, but 190 out of 269 aint bad. It aint good either, but had fun.

Casey, top 100.
Jason, top 15.
Jennifer, top 40.

I think cal club might just have season end stuff for points card holders. Only SD waste all that money on those things EVERY event. I would mutch rather see a nice deal at the end of the year than a little pos every event. I do like those discounted entry fees I seem to always get.

How do you go about claiming that discount? Think I trophied the last event.

As far as the little pos trophies, they are kinda cool when you first start out... but yeah, when you get one every event it's just too much. I'm going for the year-end BS win in SD this year, thanks for not joining a club.

I think only SDAD does the discount. Not saying getting trophys is not cool, just better to get a few nice ones that are worth keeping.

is there a way to check total points for the year? I am not seeing how to do that. It would be nice to see how you are doing, more so near the end of the year.

I was talking about CalClub... according to the webpage you're supposed to get "Solo$".

http://www.solo2.com/results.asp

Along the top they have links for "Individual Points", "Overall Points", etc. It hasn't been updated with Sunday's results yet. Have to be a points card holder...
