CA Rotary Specialist/mechanic garage in Socal OC area

Hey everyone, sorry for this but can someone tell me where there is a good mechanic or garage in SoCal preferably around OC or LA area please. I want to do like a Tranny Swap and maybe some engine work. Thanks. Whenever I googled, I kept coming up with stores selling stuff or places not close lol's. Anyways, I live in La Palma which is in between Cerritos, Cypress, and Buena Park. Your responses will be GREATLY appreciated, thanks.

Never fear, Jedi is here!!!
The place you seek is NeptuneSpeed in Huntington Beach.
I've been going there for YEARS, the owner Yoshiya was born and raised in Japan, has extensive knowledge of Rotary engines and has been a tremendous help to people here.

We've even done dyno days at this shop. I think we put 18 cars on the dyno in one day.

very honest shop, they know their stuff, and will always take great care of you.
It's the only shop that touches my RX-8.

^ I second Jedi's recommendation, hands down one of the best rotary shops around in OC. Yoshiya is quite a good mechanic and he did a tranny swap and installed the coilovers on my 8. Superb service and one of the nicest guys around.

I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a mechanic who is familiar with rotaries and is super honest.

^^ ac3mastuh: good to see you around these parts again!
I remember going to Yoshiya's and seeing your car up on the lift. I was like, "HEY! I know that car."

I've seen him port countless RX-7's, even saw him porting the engine he just put in his 2nd gen. (that car is going to be a BEAST)

I normally do not recommend porting an engine unless you're already doing a rebuild, it's just not worth it financially. (cost to pull / reinstall engine)
You should swing by some time and talk to them, they'll take care of you.

if you've got a 7, you gotta go there.

Here's a thread where we invaded the shop for a Dyno Day https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/socal-dyno-day-pics-144518/
