You should ask a mod to change the title of your thread to "Looking for tuning help in NB, Canada" or something of the like. It will potentially get more views from members in that area.
Also, what type of tuning and mechanical help are you looking for?

Why do you want to make these mods? Nothing you've indicated will gain you much in the way of power. The Cat back will only alter the sound and the ECU is pretty darned good right outta the box.

Well its an 04 and im sure it hasnt been maintained at all. These are some of the first stage upgrades i found on forums in the club. What do you recomend ?

If you're not subject to emissions testing get rid of the Catalytic converter; Its a point of failure and when things go wrong it can destroy your engine. The BHR midpipe would be a good choice. A nice deep tone and no rasp with the stock catback. And your butt dyno will sense an increase in power.

If you don't know that it's been maintained then you might want to install new coils, wires and plugs. Ignition failure causes a myriad of unpleasant side effects. These items need to be changed as a unit every 25-30K miles.

Being an '04, its probably due for new shocks/springs.

RX8 Club’s recommended maintenance schedule, more comprehensive and proactive than Mazda’s schedule.
30,000 miles:
- Replace Ignition coils
- Replace Plug wires
- Replace Spark plugs
- Clean MAF (mass air flow sensor)
- Clean ESS (e-shaft sensor)
- Reset ESS profile
- Clean power steering connections
- Clean battery terminals and clamps
- Replace transmission fluid
- Replace coolant (Mazda FL-22 is highly recommended)
- Replace air filter
- Replace brake fluid (fluid in the brake lines AND the clutch line)
~$300 USD in parts if you shop smartly.

every 60,000:
...all 30,000, plus...
- Clean all chassis electrical grounding points
- Replace accessory belts
- Clean OMP lines
- Replace rear differential fluid
- Replace thermostat
- Clean / Straighten AC condenser fins
- Clean / Straighten oil cooler fins
- Inspect catalytic converter
- Clean / Inspect intake valving
- Consider / inspect all points in 90,000+ as well, many items fail early
~$130 USD in parts if you shop smartly.

90,000:
...all 30,000, plus any 60,000 not yet done, plus...
- Replace coolant bottle
- Replace radiator hoses
- Replace radiator
- Replace front O2 sensor
- Replace motor mounts
- Inspect clutch pedal assembly for flex / weld breaks
~$900 USD in parts if you shop smartly.
At 100k, anything original in the cooling system is really suspect and failure prone. It represents the biggest threat to your engine.

Have a look through the list that colon posted. You can either do your own troubleshooting, or you can take it to a trustworthy mechanic.

The symptoms you describe could be many different issues. Is your starter the updated one? Have you tested engine compression via a rotary specific tester? You mentioned plug, coils and wires haven't been changed. Do all of those at the same time.

Also, read the "trouble starting, start here" and "congrats you got an 8" stickies. Last (but the most important, imo) read the "new and potential owners" sticky in the new members forum.
