Any body got any good or bad words about them am thinking of takin my car there for some work just wondering if there any good?

 

They rebuilt my second gen engine a number of years ago. No complaints.

 

I know a friend on base that brought his FC over there to have work done on it. He initial recommended the place then he said that they charge too much but that could just be his personal opinion. I don't know the particulars that brought him to this conclusion. Money varies from person to person what a lot is to one could be pocket change to another.

Rick's is a top notch shop. yea sure it's a little expensive but you get what you pay for.
The guys on the rx7club have mucho praise for him.

 

Rick owns an RX-8 automatic and added a Greddy turbo kit. In the winter he's usually busy doing motor rebuilds for RX-7s. He's a good guy and knows his stuff.

I was looking for a recommended tuner shop that's familiar with an AT turbo setup

 

AFAIK Rick and I are the only 2 AT's that have been turboed in the states. I was going to stop by his shop when I'm SSX but thats a 500 mi trip north....Oh well.
