CA Renensis rebuild request

Does anyone know or know someone who can rebuild a renensis in Norcal area?

blown apex from boost ?

suggest you put better seals in when you rebuild plus dowell the engine ....

you could use a vendor to crate up an engine and then you send him yours but CRH's rebuilds are very damn good and usually the more cost effective route.

what went wrong?
compression figures? symptoms?

the dowel point is an interesting issue.. odd where that crack happens..

in the states also.

when you see it all apart it is very apparent why it cracks there

*stress raiser step in dia. inside the hole + force from the dowel right at that point + very thin casting at that point + lots of torque = CRACK

you should see how we fixed it last time - put it this way - I still have the crack but not the oil leak ......

you are the one i think had his stuff right when it happened..

I'm thinking if I should do a low comp rebuild and keep the turbo!

Dude there are a couple of rotary shops up there in Sac and near the bay area.
