Everyone,
Great event. Thanks again to everyone who played a part in pulling the day together. I have to laugh at the group shot. If you look closely at my facial expression it appears as if Shannon is goosing me
Sorry... it's just too d@mn funny :D :D

And who's the idiot that took the sweatshirt out of my car before this Wickenburg trip anyhow 'eh? Oh wait, that idiot was me. DUH! And by the way, my car is now officially in the shop as of today 11:09 am. Changes are in the works.

Hey thanks for getting a couple of pics of my old Rx4 in there guys. This was its first road trip without being on a trailer. It did well asid from a little oil leak and having to rev to 5,700 rpm to keep up with you guys on the 60. Hope to see you all again at the next event.

I think we should corrolate (sp?) with Node from the Azrx7.com page for out next meet.
I know Steve Kahn is in town tuning the 26th. I'm just wondering how many of us would go to a tuning session. I would go regardless, just because I find that type of thing intresting, but not everyone thinks like me either (Thank God!).
The following is a link to the rained out BBQ.

Hey Dave,
Node = Ben and he is an RCCAZ member. I've sent him a message expressing our interest in participating in the BBQ once he sets a new date.
The invite for all RCCAZ members to Steve Kan Tuning is not really intended as an "official" RCCAZ club event. I just thought that some of you with non-programmable cars might be interested in stopping by to see what's involved with Dyno Tuning, that's all. Hopefully Ben will get with us in the near future on a revised date.

D'oh, did i forget something? haha
Well, the 12th bbq got rained out. New one is Saturday the 26th.
I was thinking have people show up around 12 noon or so, and then just BBQ at who knows when.
Weather looks fine for the weekend right now.
All I need is an RSVP of you and any and all guests, and what you'll be bringing.
Maybe someone and myself can split the cost of the hamburger patties and hamburger buns.
OK, whos coming?!? And you Tucson people should join us, a few tucsoners made it last year and it was fairly fun, we had about 27 people show up.
The Park is located in South Scottsdale.
Pima Park is located at Thomas Rd and 86th St just a block west of the loop 101.
Just take the 101 to the scottsdale area and exit on Thomas Rd, go West past the first light (which is Pima Rd), and turn Right at 86th St.
Here is a yahoo map of the area.
http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?e...ew=1&name=&qty=
E-mail me if youd like my phone number and have any questions or anything.
meanrex@yahoo.com
And there is a basketball and volleyball court. I have a basketball, maybe get together a beach volleyball game?
And theres a chance that this BBQ will have a column about it in RX Tuner. So bring your car fairly clean and especially if its more photoworthy

""It just doesn't get much better than red chili and classic cars. Thanks to APS' partnership with the city of Casa Grande, you can have both. The 27th annual Arizona State Open Chili Championship is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, March 5, Dave White Park in Casa Grande.
In addition to the Red Chili Championship competition, the event features a classic car show, entertainment, food, arts and crafts and vendor booths. You can participate in selecting the chili champion as the sale of Red Chili Competition cups begins at noon.
Dave White Park is located at 2121 N. Thornton Road (north of Thornton and Korsten roads), Casa Grande.""

I shore do love me some hot chili. It'd be fun to get a little caravan going to Casa Grande

First off Huff, Welcome back bro. Long time no talk and it's nice to see you getting back in the loop. Best of luck with the turbo kit and install.
In regards to this weekend in Casa Grande, 09Factor and I spoke yesterday and he said that he MAY be able to go, but only on Sunday. Poolside indicated an interest to go as well, but I personally will not attend due to family duties. Is Shannon the only one interested in going? Should I send it out to the RCCAZ email list or just drop the idea. Let me know what everyone thinks!
Thanks!

where are you guys meeting in prescott? im from about 35 mins away, and ill meet you guys there if you cant tell me when/where to be. looking forwards to seeing you guys, lemme know please.
Meeting on Sunday, April 17th in Prescott. Leaving Phoenix around 10 a.m. and stopping for lunch at Murphy's in Prescott around Noon. Depart around 1:30 p.m. for Mingus Mountain/Jerome/Cottonwood before catching I-17 near Camp Verde and heading back into Phoenix. Arrival time in Phoenix expected between 4 and 5 p.m. More details to come soon.
BTW, I stopped into Showcase yesterday and sat in their Shinka for at least a half hour. Sweet ride and if I weren't so in love with my Gen 3 I'd be taking that off the showroom floor for them. The other disappointment was their lack of skilled and knowledgeable sales staff. I hate it when everytime I ask a question, the salesperson goes running off to ask the sales manager. Great products, but poor product knowledge IMO!
