OK guys and Gals. I'm thinking of doing something the 30th Of Jan either Going to F1, or meeting somewhere, lunch and Then heading somewhere.

Now I would like to get the ones that we don't see often or haven't met yet to come out too...
That being "said" who's up for this?

Well, I for one prefer the meeting somewhere, lunch and then heading somewhere, maybe taking in a quick coffe shop break too. After all, the whole purpose of this group is to make friends witha common interest, and that main common interest is that 4-wheel wonder we drive known as the RX-8

How about this, Meet at Desert Ridge on the South side between Jillians and Target. After that we can have lunch at the Cali Pizza Factory, and then find a good coffee shop. :D

I know the Desert ridge is Busy all the time. I'm trying to find a somewhere half way between the usual place of Scottsdale Pavillions and Surprise.... just an idea. Thats why i'm post this now...

Yo, 09Factor

Great idea! I like it! Meet at Desert Ridge on the South side between Jillians and Target, have lunch at the Cali Pizza Factory, or another place there - there are plenty, and then find a good coffee shop between Surprise and Mesa - we can always do a 'round the city 101 trip on a beautiful 70's in the temp day - open them windows, and if you have one, the sunroof, too!

Or, we can find a good coffee shop in Wickenburg, Jerome, I don't know of one in Bagdad - sorry.

By the way poolside - I am a 65% for Saturday, but a 100% on Sunday. Saturday we have an installer coming into the house, and I was elected to instruct, guide, and supervise. Oh well.

I know the Cali Pizza Factory opens at 11:00 on Sunday, so why don't we meet at Desert Ridge about 10:20- 10:30. So we can waste a little time waiting for the slower ones to show up for Lunch...:p
A run to a Wickenburg coffee shop sounds good. Do you know of one?

I'll be bringing Karen(the BOSS) with me.

See you there !

So, is this an official event being planned by the 09Factor? Awesomel!

Is it OK if I send out a mass email to the RCCAZ list today? I like the idea of meeting for Pizza and a drive to Wickenburg. It's been a while since we've had a run on the West side of town. Trying to be all-inclusive here. If everyone's comfortable with 11 a.m. Sunday at Desert Ridge I'll send it out!

Comments anyone???

There are three coffee "shops" in Wickenburg.. There is the squash Blossom Nursery on the other side of town but has large dirt parking lot, The Cowboy Cafe, has a cramped parking lot and over-sized trucks ,and a "-------" Espresso usually filled w/ motor cycle riders and parking is wherever you can find it.. I'll fill in the dashes when I get to work.
I will also have directions just in case someone gets lost, IE: me.

That's a tough question. As far as hanging out goes, I agree with Urchin... the more the merrier. We had a person a couple years back who was interested in joining Rotary Car Club of Arizona (RCCAZ) and had done an LT1 V8 conversion in his Gen 3. After polling our club the general concensus at that time was to keep it to "rotaries only." However, we can still share ideas on chassis setups, motorsports passions, etc. Hope to maybe meet up with you in the near future.

09Factor,

Can we possibly have a MapQuest link to Cali Pizza Factory? I'm unclear as to which location we're talking about. Is it the California Pizza Kitchen?? Please provide a link and address so I can email it to the club Friday morning.

CPK California Pizza Kitchen at Desert Ridge

Find your map here at the 101 & Tatum. From the 101 exit go north on Tatum and take your first right by Target. If you miss that right turn and get the stop light entrance into Desert Ridge, just go right and Target will be at your right again from there.

Edit: Address is 21001 N Tatum Blvd # 40137 Phoenix, AZ 85050

Rccaz1 You never called me ........

As for the Strokers hanging with us, As urchin and Rccaz say " the more the merrier".
I don't have a problem with it.
