Details

Not sure what details you want, look at the first post. Since you are in Scottsdale you are not that far away. Indian Bend is north of Camelback and south of Shea. Denny's should be between the 101 and Pima road. People should start showing up around 10.

Urchin are you and the lovely wife coming along? I'd love to see you kidz again!

And yes 2F2F, we are meeting tomorrow morning between 10am and 11am at the Scottsdale Pavilion. Here's the scoop and I hope you join us!

April 18th Meet, Greet & Drive
You are invited to join your fellow RX-8 owners for an informal meet and greet on Sunday, April 18th at 11:00 a.m.

The Event will be in the parking lot just east of the Denny's on Indian bend in scottsdale just off the loop 101.

The address is:

Denny's Restaurant Scottsdale
9160 E Indian Bend Rd
SCOTTSDALE, AZ 85250 - 8503

We can all meet and chat for a bit. Take some pictures of the cars in a group and then, for those who desire we

will make a road trip out to tortilla flats or some other fun destination. This is a good chance to get together

and meet one another and chew the fat about our beloved machines. Hope to see you there!

Gr8 2 C all the 8's today, it was a gr8 day for a run, too bad for the slow ones

Vivid, your suspension setup is really nice, where I was sliding, I noticed that you just hugged the road. Hope you didn't mind I was on your a$$, i trust your driving skills....And a big thank you for the goodies this morning for the club members (even though I passed).

did anyone notice if my mask/bra was flapping in the top middle? just curious.

see you all soon!

Chromed wheels on a green 8

Check out MattMan555's chromed wheels on his green 8 - I hope you can make them out. I have to say that's the first time I've seen chromed wheels that look so friggin sharp on an 8:

Tortilla Flat 2

The drive was great. Finally got to see a couple of green ones, and the color is awesome. Pictures do not do the color justice.

Poolside, you are popular tonite, here is a pic of your plate (I hope). I attached the picture but the preview did not show it. I haven't tried posting pictures before.

Hi Buddy,

Oops! No wonder I didn't see any RX8. I was at the Denny's along the Scottsdale main road.....Didn't realise it was the Indian Bend outlet.

What a shym man!!! Hope there is another chance to meet up. BTW, I'll be here until Sat morning & I'll check out on Sat noon.
During the day, I'll be busy with my sales seminar.

On Sat, I'll depart for Las Vegas for 2 nites, then to LA for 2 nites & then Tokyo (Japan) for 2 nites before I head back to Singapore.
Hope to check out some RX8 parts (Blitz, Knight Sport, Apexi).

Let me know in advance if any of the weekday nite that you guys are meeting up near Scottsadale Plaza Resort again.
My Room No. 122 & Name: David Mak.

Nice Photo!!

Cheers

Killer shot Sanguine! I kept trying to take one like that but they just don't come out. It's sofa king cool to see a line of 8's ahead of you snaking thru the twisties like that :D Urchin thanks for posting pics of my girl - can you believe I haven't taken a single photo of my car until just this Sunday with all of us in a group? I love my silly little plate (and Sanguine what are your waiting for in getting yours?). LOL 09Facotor - glad you could come out and play for just a little bit and thanks for taking pics! Hope your wife is doing well. And the sticker you added to your car looked sweet on those tinted windows. Very classy. 2F2F - I guarantee you we'll be doing these meets again; they're addicting.

Nah, man. I don't mind. It was fun wasn't it. I was glad to see someone else willing to mix it up a bit and an take a few chances. I saw you sliding around a few times back there but you looked like you had it under control. Me and my buddy in the car were enjoying it and remarking as to how crazy it was that your wife and boy were in the car, most wives don't allow that type of driving though I bet the little guy loved it. I've got a few pics as well but haven't loaded up yet.

control

you always maintain control of your vehicle (hence our prior conversation about tracks with walls ) my wife is afraid of my driving (speed-wise, not recklessness), however she also stated that she TRUSTS my driving (since i am rarely reckless).

your car on the other hand, i see noticable gain as i could hear (and sometimes anticipate) your shift, but yet your car seemed to take off or i would hear you shift up while i was still winding out. man, your suspension/tire set-up HUGS the ground

p.s. - thx for the "thumbs up" hehe.

Very true about leading. I found myself going into some of those turns way to hot and standing on the brakes at the last second. Either way, good stuff. Mabey we should plan a trip to South Mountain though it's not for the faint of heart and your bound to get a chip in the paint.

Looks like a great time everyone. Wish I could have made it. Don't forget to contact Tom if you're interested in driving to Prescott again (I think the weekend of May 8-9). Also, if you drove to Tortilla Flats and are interested in more info about Rotary Car Club of Arizona (RCCAZ), but are currently not a member or on my email list, just PM me with your normal email info and I'll make sure to add you to our list for news about coming events.

Great job Sanguine and everyone else who assisted. Pics look awesome!
