Hey all you AZ RX-8ers. (outsiders welcome also!! :D) This is to announce an informal get together....

The Event will be in the parking lot just east of the Denny's on Indian bend in scottsdale just off the loop 101.

We can all meet and chat for a bit. Take some pictures of the cars in a group and then, for those who desire we

will make a road trip out to tortilla flats or some other fun destination. This is a good chance to get together

and meet one another and chew the fat about our beloved machines. Hope to see you there!

Absolutely!! In fact last week we met at bell & 101 west..hehe. We've got rx-8 owners from all over the valley who show up. BTW...check out www.rccaz.com Its the rotary car club and you can check out the pics from some other drives. BTW...what are you driving?

2004 Green RX8... right now stock, only 1225 miles on it..

Oh killer we're going to have a green one join the group. I can't wait to see yours MattMan. You and I have almost the same miles too.

Mattman55, and other Westsiders we could hook up some where close to Bell and 101 and head to Denny's from there. To have a greater presence.

i'm coming from the westside, however, i am down by I-10, it is quicker to take 10 to 202 to 101 to Indian Bend. If you want to meet me by I-10, PM me.

Excellent folks, sounds like we should have a decent number of us showing up. I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you that I don't already know. so we'll have black (x2) titanium (1 or 2), a yellow, a green, a red. Maybe a blue. So we just need a sunlight silver now.

Hey Everyone...What would you think if we were to meet at 10am instead of 11am. That way we could miss some of the noon traffic out to tortilla flats?

I can't make Saturday's meet (navy reserve weekend) but you can add me to the PHX list:

(BTW...it's on sunday if that makes a difference).

One suggestion would be anyone who has an FRS (Walkie Talkie) radio should bring it.

It really helps when you got 20 cars in a row to be able to communicate.

That's a really good idea. As for well organized.....um....well if people show up then cool. If not...I drive alone :D

I imagine we can put someone in front and back with cell phones in a pinch but the radios are a really good thing to have.

Please let us know! I'm in for either time, also have a set of the FRS walkie-talkies and Nextel walkie-talkie feature on my cel phone (which suks btw (coverage, batt life, features), don't go for nextel, IMHO).

Well, since we did originally plan it for 11am then lets do 11. I'll be up there between 10 and 10:30 just in case.

I don't have a walkie-talkie but do have a cell phone. Sharing that with someone would have been a good thing a couple weekends ago when I lost everyone in Prescott *DUH

Haha! just now found this post though I am already on the list to meet up on sunday. See you all there. I'll try to remember the walkies. I'm showing up earlier like 10am to get some breakfast. We need to have a little discussion when we all get to gether and come up with options for other drives for future get togethers. We shall discuss on Sun. See you there.
