well ya'll, i did it... i got all four of my cailpers painted, but i did not remove the brake pad etc. so it looks half-assed but whatever!

I wanted to thank you guys that tried getting a hold of me... i guess i didnt answer the phone cause i was outside A. watching my little brother and B. Painting my calipers.

the orange seems to be more of a bright red-orange, but i will post pics tomorrow after i wash it...

unfortunatly, i wont be coming to the malibu cruise, but have fun!!!

btw, i started the "Caliper paint-fest" at 9am and ended at 5pm. a day i'm gonna remember.

also after i finished, i went to fire her up, and noticed that my battery was dead >_<

lol anyways, have fun tomorrow! and no cliff hanging!

maybe you can help me get my calipers painted too . been wanting to get mine painted for a while already. what color did you paint yours? i want to paint mine red. stands out best against my black 8

So we had a lot of new members that discuessed intrest in our meets the last couple of weeks, can we get a list of who might be coming not too mention the rest of the usual members who might/might not be coming? Fedex should be here tomorrow. I'm not doing the fedex chant anymore....it is worthless just like they are.

On a second mailing issue. I received the dash kit samples in the mail today...damn, those took forever as well. Two things about them. One, the samples are very small, much smaller than I anticipated. I was hoping to get a bigger piece so that I could place it in my car to help me make a decision. Two, the samples look a lot better than I anticipated, which is good, but makes the decision even harder. The two we got for Snowfl8k are hard to choose from (white, silver carbon fiber). I'm sure (if we remember) we'll bring them to the meet.

Another bring to meet issue...speeddemon, bring Snowfl8ks part if you could. I'm gonna bring some tools so we can do the install prior to the cruise. I wanna show everyone how easy it is in case others would like to do the same later on.

 

I will try to remember to bring it. i need to remember to put it in my car.

Lesper, I do have a fairly recently updated contact list, but i will try to update it again as it does not have some of the noobies on it.

Hmm I still have not heard from the car shop to do the kit "skirt".... once it don't fall off...lol I will be there..I soposed to go to a meeting for my house with a realtor on sat evening...let me see if I can push that back... i need more than just business in my life..hey jedi.. don't worry.. we are rotored for the distance.. not the piston heads...

 

F'in Fedex. What the hell am I supposed to do with half a fricken intake. I now know why i use (and am happy with) UPS. I also know what the "F" in Fedex stands for now. Thanks Fedex.

Oh, and if anyone needs to know...don't sit on hold for 20 minutes with Fedex automatyed number, just hit "0" like 20 times and then you'll get a totally incompentent human to resolve the problem. The whole problem was that they couldn't figure out where to send the package, because some idiot entered too many numbers in my damn zip code.

aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh h...wheres that blowing my head off with a shotgun smiley....oh, there isn't one. Saturday we will meet at the Pirate City tatoo shop, hang out there for awhile and then go on a cruise. If you want something to do earlier in the morning, Snowfl8k and I will be at Farmers Boys on Cherry off the 10 freeway at around 7:50. I dont know who else is coming...let me know guys if your coming to breakfast.

Then again, I may not be there if I find that damn smiley (<----referring to my previous post about "F"edex).

lol....i used to work for UPS. oh, the horror stories i have . lol. and i wouldn't be surprised that FEDEX is any worse . but at least i know that UPS gets there packages to the proper destination on time .
