Wow all this red carbon fiber on the inside and the outside, all I have to do is get a bunch of money and I might have chance at second place next year in sevenstock.

So KC you got your car running, that must be why you haven't posted all day. Did it sound good, are all the kinks worked out. P.S. I have a choice to go to a bachler party on the 5th (finals at pomona?) should I go? They guy is a real goodie-to-shoes so no girls no alchoal. Are you going to get your car in any races before the end of the season? That will be a busy weekend, first home search waiting list then Pomona then Malibu and then the next week San Berdo meet and the wedding, any body fell as hetic as me?

Lesper, yeah it does sound good, it is LOUD, but it does sound good. when you are at the races though the loudness is not as bad because everyone is loud. but when you are in a quiet area........ it becomes not so quiet.

all of the kinks are not worked out yet. Thanks to Red Barron for letting us try the MSD digital 6 plus. although we could still not ge tthe car to work right, it is looking more and more like it is the coils.....

at high RPM when the car "freaks out" the tach also freaks out, well the tach gets its signal from one of the coils. also when the car freaks out the timming light will turn off. I did some reading on coils the last coupld nights, and i have learned that in general, the higher the voltage of a coil the less RPM's that coil is capable of. well I baught the biggest baddest 60,000 volt coils i could find.

long story short, MeShell ordered me 3 new MSD Blaster 2 coils that should go great with the new MSD box from RedBaron7. if all goes well she will be running WELL for the first time this weekend.

we are bringing the car back to my house this week so that we are no longer pissing off my dads neighbors. insted we will be pissing mine off. :D this will make it so i can go out and work on the car for a few hours at will rather then having to make a day out of it.

sorry i have not been on much, i have been busy with the car, and with work. I have ben reading it every day though. just not typing.

well, i htink thats it, hope i didnt forget someones question, or leave somehting out.

oh yeah, Paul from Mazmart....... how's it going? i was not ignoring you either. I'm Casey the big white guy standing with Jason in the courtyard.

Kwescott, Caribian spiceboy, RedBaron7, Zero, thanks for your help last saturday. it sucks we didnt get her working, but we are getting closer. it's a process of trial and error at this point. I just wish it would end soon. this has been an ongoing problem for WAY to long...... but it was kinda fun getting pulled over int he race car. people freak out when i tell them i got pulled over in the blue car (if they know about the car)

because it is not even close to being a street legal car. he was getting the VIN number off of the firewall.

yeah, it definately wasn't for speeding

I think he was trying to find the VIN number on the red sedan Acura we were cruising around in...ha, he wasn't even close. I guess the Mazda stickers all over the place didn't give it away. He wasn't playing with a full deck (if you know what I mean), at least he let us zoom-zoom away and back to the garage without a ticket. The Po-Po can be nice, every once in awhile. Thanks Po-Po.

The only potential problem I see with these kits, is that they are stick-ons.
When it gets hot in summer, pieces will start to shift and fall off.
That will look bad! (had to throw in at least one smilie)

i have heard that the tape works pretty good. i am not speaking from experiance, but a guy at work does have the dash kit, and it seems to hold up fine.

got my Nav system update CD in the mail today from Mazda..... just an FYI. I LOVE the fact that the Nav system now displays a mazda symbol instead of the Navtech symbol.

Congradulations on the little Vipress.

I have a photochop request for anyone interested in attempting this one.

I would like the wheels from this car, chopped onto some pics of Snowfl8k's 8

here are the wheels

Here's my feeble attempt.
The problem is that the picture of the wheels where taken in direct sunlight, and Snowfl8k's pics are at dawn.
There's probably some fancy effect someone can use on Photoshop, but I'm not that 'someone'.

It looks kind of funny, but here it is...

thats some serious bling bling.....you're right, it does look weird given the differences in lighting. Makes me think of Gold Member from Austin Powers...."It's made of GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDDD DD".

I'm really contemplating it Razz...but just cant make my mind up on the color I would choose. I'm kinda hoping someone else did it before me so I could make sure...but it looks like it is going to be me this time...and then others may follow suit.
