Hey Hey everyone! Oye I miss having time for the computer......and the meets 
At any rate, I FINALLY have my car back(too bad it's not an 8 :-p) The Rustang's been in the shop for a month, and now it's back. Now it's just financial things that are preventing me(with a baby on the way and a new wife it aint easy) As soon as I can scrounge up some cash for gas I'll be at the soonest meet

Just as I anticipated. I've been in this customizing thing for awhile, and things rarely go as planned. This means that it's gonna be a couple of long evenings Thursday and Friday.
This is going to throw a slight wrinkle in the plans to pick up Erica's car in El Monte on Friday. Her car is scheduled to be ready Wednesday, but things rarely go as planned. So we are expecting to get a call late Thursday, early Friday, that her ride is ready to be picked up. I was planning on going by the shop Thursday after work to check on progress.
Hopefully, we can start Wednesday on Jason's car, and get most of the things done by Thursday night (this is really going to push it however)....so that I can try and get down to El Monte by 6:00 on Friday, and not have to worry about rushing back...and then having to get up at 5:00 the following morning for 7-stock.
If we don't get done with Jason's ride by Thursday, I will have to come over when I return from El Monte...probably be around your house at 745/800 or so. Maybe I can convince Snowfl8k to get her hands in the mix.

Lesper...if you are online...check ebay now (Search "RX8"). There are a couple of parts up that you may be interested in that are ending in less than 30 minutes. Fender strakes (velocity red), couple of gas doors, exhaust finishers.....

yes, only having 2 or three night to work on it will make it difficult.
Spice boy, i took friday off, although i would like to get as much done before then, as i have to load the race car up on the trailer, and get stuff ready for seven stock. but we can and will have a lot of the day to work on your car.
I am mostly concerned with getting the front, sides, and wing on youyr car with Kieth. we can always do the rear bumper later, and you and I can always do the little stuff on friday without kieth.

*Sigh.... this is really making me angry. I should've had my car back a few weeks ago. AGH
They supposedly lost a belt trimming that goes on my window... and without it they can't reassemble the right window thus I can't get the car back. It's been excuse after excuse and it's driving me insane!
If I don't have the car back before Seven Stock, I'm going to raise hell.

WOW circle you still havent gotten your car back...I would be raiseing hell right now so that you make sure you get it for seven stock.

Lesper, you are welcome. i think it looks great. i didnt really care for the black in the middle, glad you stuck with just the red. that red really darkend up once we got it on the glass.

We haven't heard from Riccio (so we've basically lost her car)..
Circle doesn't have his car
Snowfl8k doesn't have her car
Caribbean doesn't have his car
should be a good meet...at least some other people may show up that have their cars

At least KC got his engine.....

I have been tryign to call since i posted last.. now the BUSINESS phone is busy..Hmmmm cllcle I was wondering do you know Karate.. I just got back from looking over at my car from the body shop. It's done. But they are still waiting for this plastic trimming that goes around the window and thus can't reassemble the right mirror. Hopefully... the dealership they are in contact with will get that piece in tomorrow. Thursday latest supposedly. But I don't wanna hold my breath.
I'm sure everything will work out for everyone by the time Seven Stock comes... cuz... just like Spice Boy said, we're gonna have to lay it down and get dirty if otherwise.
I may not be built but I sure can aim pretty well at the sensitive areas! Muahaha~

he he he, hey guys i need some help. I go tmy wheels in today for the race car, but still no intake manifold. (although it's not late yet) but i think we all need to do the UPS chant..... "let's go UPS, lets go..... let's go UPS, lets go" :D
anyways, there is a lot of work stilol, but she SHOULD be running in the next few days. Spice boy, did you see that i took friday off? we should be able to get some work done then.
to those of you in the "no car club" i hope you get those cars soon. i really would like to see you all at seven stock!

hey Kc I did read about you was not workign on friday.. well for me I never work on a friday 
...but wow in the week would of been crazy from me...the more i think of it.. I would of been pushing my self over the limit..due to the distance I have to drive from SD to get to your home.. don't know what was thinking ..well hey give me points for talking a good game ..lol..so I guess it boil down to.. what ever that is not done on friday...will have to leave for next fri/sat when you are ava to help me :o .. lol hope you don't mind my car stay in your garage for that long time... :D

hey guys, getting ready for bed just wanted to share this picture with you, i thought this was funny. here is a picture of a second gen drag car with the SAME wheels as mine. only thing differant is that mine seem to be wider as mine will stick out of the car just a little bit.
either that or he is tubed. but i seriously doubt that. i saw a interior pic and it still has all of the interiorm, but you never know.
just thought it was funny. now i just need to ge the fronts like him. :D
