There is a suspicious looking yellow 8 gauging intrest.... for now.
...... starting to think for rmoney reasons not to sell it. due to the recent intrest rate hike, a new car would no longer be a cheaper payment. (although I could get one for the same exact payment)..... I duno????

You know, if Casey and Jesse sell their drivable rotaries, and Loren moves near Keith, Erica and I in Fontana, you may be posting to a new thread soon.

Hi, I am new to this meet thing. I recently got an rx8 this early year and just recently started driving my car. It's my first car and first stick shift car. I've never owned a stick shift car, let alone drive one. I also don't have any car knowledge, besdie side mirror, rear mirror, break, gas, clutch, e- break, just the very very very very basic car. I am interested in meeting up with you guys in the next meet and maybe learning more about my car from you guys.

You sure are lucky to have this, as your first car. You're also lucky that your learning how to drive a stick with this car..very easy to learn.
Maybe on the first crsuie you come on, you might want to just sit passenger with someone else....

But buying a car is a different realm than ANYTHING else. Right now mazda has 3.9% for 4 years . . . ford 0% for 3 years . . and MITSUBISHI has 4.9% for 5 years ( on specified models )

. what a way to pop a cherry...
by the way welcome to the thread. ask a lot of questions but only in here and have fun...
Krazie's TWO CENTS!!!
if you guys sell your cars, you'll be upset for a couple of months. you will miss the car, and have rx8 anxiety
do i sound like a poorly written fortune cookie?
but yeah, gl with the sales. hope you can find an evo club

hmm... here's a newbie question for u guys- being that i know nothing about autocross... but, is there an autocross class exclusively for rx-8's that u guys can compete in instead? if other cars can win just because of mods, then it seems like they should be in a higher class....
if you guys were only competing against other rx-8s, then that would seem like a more even playing field. plus, u would be comparing apples to apples as opposed to constantly feeling inferior due to the enhanced performance of the other modified cars.
am i crazy, or does this make some sense?

I could try to awnser that for you detrich but i would probabley butcher the awnser and confuse you all.
Esentially no almost any classs depending on your mods...the rx8 cup is just for fun outside the offical scores
how did i do?

Reagle Beagle, Just going of fwhat they told me. I went to the same place that financed me for the RX-8. I am currently paying 5.somthing% and the new loan would be 7.99%
I did think about going into the mitsu dealer to see if they can beat the loan. you know kinda make then fight for it.
but of course I wouldent do that untill I was sure I wanted to go trough with it. (which would mean I would have to sell my car first.)
We will see, but at this point its looking more like keeping the 8 would be the better choice right now. and thats not a bad thing. its not like I dont like my car. just was looking forward to somthing with more power. and a cheaper car payment (which cant happen at this point)
so no biggy. If I keep the car, I will most likeley keep it and look to sell the car in a year or so, then look into buying a used Evo ix. 1, I will make money on the RX-8 rather then break even. which means I can put a nice down payment on the next car. and 2, the Evo will be cheaper due to the used part of it.
In the mean time maybe get some more mods and enjoy what I have. :D Like I said, its not like I hate my car or anything like that.

I have had 7 RX-7s an RX-2 and an RX-8.... I'll stick with the RX-8.
(Not that I dont love RX-7s obviously I do)

Wait for the EVO X !!!! 70% stiffer baby!!!
I am not opposed to anyone getting a new car. Personally, I love my 8 and would not trade it for anything else. ( in my price range, cuz i would certainly trade it for a ferrari 246 Dino )
Speed . . 2 things . . . 1) As of early this year, Dealers can only pull (add) 2.5% instead of 3%. So that dealer was actually telling you they can do 5.4% plus the 2.5% they want to make on the back end.
And 2) - - - DIBS ON YOUR SUSPENSION , if it is getting sold.
