Back in the days when we all hung out like we were friends.....
ohhhh the good on days.

Yeah I remember that day. thats the day we ran the practice at the auto x. then after we all went over to keith and ericas house and Spice Boy fell asleep on us. (I think Rodney did to) I think we even played a game that day.

i got my first ticket in the evo9 last night.........

me and ron (blue evo9) were playing w/ the g-tech in the boondocks behing pharoahs lost kingdom.. we toyed with the thing for like 30 minutes, then decided to leave.... as we left, we stopped at a light side by side... had a little fun going through 1-2-3... then slowed down because it turned into 1 lane.... 5 miles down san bernardino ave., we get pulled over by a cop, then 2 cops, then a huge spot light shines on us from above... helicopter! the cop came up to me and said "so, did you have fun back there street racing?".. i was like "what are you talking about, we were doing 20mph when you pulled us over!" he said the helicopter watched us "street racing" back on industial parkway...... so ron and i both got misdimeaner "speed contest" tickets! totally ghey!

so the moral boys and girls, even if you dont see any cops, just remember pigs can fly!

holy crap jessie, that sucks! Glad it wasn't worse then just a misdemeanor though... some of those "street racing" laws are pretty brutal these days.

He he he, pigs can fly!

that is true....

they could have been cool and let you go, but at least it wasnt an impound.

still sucks though. hard to remember when you have a fast car that you still need to drive the speed limit.

Keep us updated on what happens with it.

here's my 0.02 on the wing... i think the ms wing definitely looks better & sharper. and, tho i don't have 1st hand experience, i'm willing to bet that it is probably easier to clean- namely because the way it attaches to the trunk allows more room for you to get your hand in there to wipe the trunk. that said, i have the oem wing and think it looks nice to. so, regardless of which one u choose, u'll be ok.

sorry to hear the news Jessie....never heard of a misdemeanor street racing ticket...sounds like something you may have to show up to court on? Yes, please keep us up to date on how things go.

How is the parting out going. I was driving past your house yesterday and looked over my shoulder, didn't see the orange beast in the driveway?

never been able to find a company that would insure both my car and home, that was cheaper.
Currently with Geico for auto...don't even know who we are with for home owners...some small company I found online.

State farm for house, and Michelles truck and cobalt.

I'd suggest you come to one of these meets and ride with someone for the first cruise. Some of these drives are quite 'agressive' and I think you'd learn a lot by riding with an experienced driver (which we have many in this group) and observing shift points, breaking, acceleration points, etc.

hope to see you at a future meet...
Oh ok. How many cruise do you guys take in one day? Where would I also leave my car at?

We usually take a 2 hour cruise...but when the weather started getting rough, the tiny cars were lost, with Gilligan, the skipper too....

oops, sorry.

on a serious note, come out to the next meet, hang out at the meet location, and then just leave the car and jump into someone's car. We usually go for lunch, and then someone can bring you back for your car.
