Oh man the best thing ever is some newbie at an autox with a BOV on his car. Every time they lift and hack as the gas pedal you can hear it.

 

This is very TRUE Vipers....a BOV may be cool on the street, but it is a joke at the autocross. I hadn't thought about this until now...but I do laugh at guys with BOV's because you can see (hear actually) when they lift, or HOW OFTEN they lift.

now here is the cool part thought. Jesse baught a BOV that he can turn a **** and it goes from atmosperic to recirculating..... so at the track he could eliminate that noise.

 

well, we'll have to see (or hear) if that holds true at the track....we'll have to see if he can get some new tires by the 11th, cause I know he was upset about his tire wear on Sunday.

 

yeah, mine can go from 100% recirculating (quiet) to the standard "pppssshhhttt"...... most of the time ill have it on recirculating......

and yeah, my tires are tore up!

 

woosie boy. the only way to save the tires at the track is to go with a crappy set of tires. I dont see Jesse putting less grip tires on. if anything put less grip tires on the street, and save the good ones for the track.... thats what I did.

I still run 225 rocks on the street. they cost me a whole $87 a peice. I love those things!!! makes it so I odnt mind driving with that camber on the street as much.

 

yeah but we are talking about an Evo trunk, its a whole lot bigger and easier to take stuff out then an 8's. And if he mounts the amp to the sub box its gets very easy to do the swap. unless he goes say like 2-12" subs
