Hmm, wonder if I could break Keith's record for most consecutive posts in a single thread....Nah, sounds like too much work.

Thought I would post some pics from my bumper swap

Finally got the true Mazdaspeed rear to replace the replica version I had. Remember when I posted pics of true bumpers, and the fake one...questioning the coverage the rear gave on the exhausts....well, now you'll be able to see the differences. I took some before and after shots....

Jedi...like the new siggy. Any chance of hooking me up?

Jessie...love th new avi. I'll have mine up soon. I just placed my MS replica rear up on Ebay..and may have interest in my rear flares...once they are sold, I'll change my avi back to our D1 avis.

Keith, I KNEW that replica looked a bit weird when I could see the exhaust cans sticking way out. Bummer the replica didn't work out for you because it looked like a GREAT deal when you first ordered it.

CONGRATS on the authentic MS !

You should email those pics to the company that makes the replica...

nice bumper & nice siggy jorge...

speaking of undersides, i think my muffler's already turning yellow, even tho my car's garaged like 99% of the time. i guess the racing beat one doesn't do that eh?

I have RB, and mine is garaged 100%. There is some discoloration at the weld seems, but overall, the chrome has remained. I have polished them a couple of times, with the same polish I use to keep the tips from bronzing....maybe that has helped?

Jedi - Thanks for the reminder.
I forgot about that post, and with my new exhaust on it's way, I don't want to see them tuning gold.
I just placed my order for the polish.

Don't know how it blew. When Casey and Keith changed my springs, they noticed the rear driverside strut had leaked.
The springs compressor was $40. If you buy some, get this type.

You can borrow them from Autozone for free.
I bought a set for Casey, because his broke while changing my springs.

Which ever route you choose, make sure they're good spring compressors.
The one's in the picture, have a safety latch so they can't slip off.
A compressed spring has enough force to kill you if it were to release suddenly!

Damn Cesar, you gotta stop OFF-ROADING in your RX-8... poor little strut didn't stand a chance.

Glad you guys spotted it though.

Keith - nice pic!

Do you happen to have the original of the main pic?
Full version w/o my name on it, and the black/white background.
If not, just a full version of the original in color.

If you do, could you email it to me?
I'm pretty sure you have my email address.

Thanks.
