It's amazing to see the things you can find when you venture outside of the San Bernardino thread

Thought Cesar and Casey might enjoy this.

(speaking of meets) Anybody feel like going to a parking structure taking some pictures and drinking some coffee/hot cocoa/apple cider? Say Tuesdayor Wednesday, maybe maybe catch a movie? The odder the day the more empty the parking structure will be. Maybe a small quaint group. (in montclair since we all know Victoria Gardens is watchign out for us already)

I'm totally interested in that, but I need to figure out what kind of radio to buy if I switch.
The radio I currently have is a single-din, and the replacement is a double-din.

So far, only one that comes to mind is this Eclipse AVN5495

It's only around $1800 on ebay.
Details:
» DVD/CD navigation receiver with built-in amplifier (15 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels, CEA-2006 compliant)
» motorized 6.5" LCD video screen with adjustable display angle and touchscreen controls
» fits double-sized (4" tall) dash openings
» built-in 30GB hard drive performs GPS navigation functions and stores up to 3,000 music tracks in Music Juke system
» map data, including millions of points of interest for the U.S. and portions of Canada preloaded on hard disk
» Gracenotes song database matches CD tracks with song names
» day and night display modes
» three selectable background images
» plays CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, DVDs, DVD-Rs, DVD-RWs, and MP3 discs
» Circle Surround II with TruBass
» five soundfields: cathedral, club, concert, live, theater
» 9-band parametric EQ
» 5 preset EQ curves
» Memory Stick slot
» SIRIUS Satellite Radio-ready (you can add satellite radio for under $100, plus subscription)
» compatible with Eclipse's HD Radio tuner
» CD changer controls
» audio/video input
» rear-view camera input
» audio/video output
» 5-volt front, rear, and subwoofer preamp outputs
As soon as I get my appraiser's license, this is on the top of my list.

wow....I bet you're having double-din dreams. 1800...wow. You sure get a lot for that though. Too bad I paid more than that to get my nav system. I wonder if this would be compatible with the steering wheel controls, and/or with the existing Nav controls I have now.

cesar you read my mind that is the only double din unit i like on the market, but i wouldn't buy it form ebay, eclipse units have a distict security feature that requires aut. sellers (the ESN). it has nav, plays everything and doesnt look as crappy as all the other touch screens.

ok, quick question. Called Puente Hills Mazda to see availabilty and pricing on front brake pads. 105.00 for the set. Romero was charging 150.00 for pads and installation. Cesar, what did you pay for your pads? Or should I just join that Mazdaspeed thing and get MS pads?
Update:
Hawk front pads 55.00 plus shipping (Ebay) These are the yellows.
Mazda OEM fronts 71.13 plus shipping through Mazdatrix
Mazda OEM fronts 77.84 Montgomery Mazda
MS front pads 190.00 through RX8garage.
If I can find a parts coupon, it owuld probably be the same price to get the OEM pads through the dealer than to have to wait for shipping from Mazdatrix. Yes?
