I wouldn't say exactly loyal... more like Local. I was going to suggest that we should meetup somewhere in the LA area so that Robert wouldn't have to drive down here all the time. :P

If it wasn't so close, I may not be able to make these weekly meets.

Btw, here is the info about the 1st Friday Huntington Beach meet.....
========================
8PM

Upper House Tea Shop

6882 Edinger Ave
Huntington Beach, CA 92647

1st Friday of each month
It's right near Golden West College... Lots of fixed up whatevers show up. I saw a MS Style White RX-8 here a few times.. but he acts rather "Elite" about his car.. so who knows.

Next month.. it's the first Friday of each month. Basically the day before our first Saturday meets with the Socal 7 Meets.

But be warned, these cars are the "Gotta be fixed up" types of people... kinda elitest. Not like they are all show cars, they you get the sense that they think they are all that and a bag of chips.

I'll figure something out. There aren't really an BIG parking lots that I know of. But we could always go to the In-N-Out on Sunset.

I've been here 2 months, and my GF has been here 9. Neither of us could thing of a decent place (other than a church).

Superbad, if you have any ideas, feel free to propose them.

Okay. It seems like the Taco Bell lot on vine and lexington is usually pretty empty, even if is small. That or the Denny's on Sunset before Gower (not the Gower and Sunset one...). The Denny's has a larger lot, but I don't know how crowded it gets. Parking lots over here are usually pretty small.

Those are my suggestions. If anyone has any better ideas...

As far as a cruise down Sunset, I don't know how much fun that would be. It's rare that you can make 5-6 stoplights on green. It's too stop-and-go. Not like Buena Park where the main roads tend to stay green unless needed to change.

There is a DMV parking lot right across the street from my apt. if they leave the gate open, which the occasionally do. But I think we would get kicked out eventually.

hmmmm

There is a city ordinance in hollywood for cruising on the weekends.. not sure about weekdays... but if you go back and forth too much on Sunset/Vine/Hollywood area, you will get cited for cruising and ticket is $80-100 bucks.

Crazy day. Other than the places I posed (Denny's being the place I'm suggesting for real, which I'll go check out tomorrow night), I have no further input. Parking is pretty bad around here.

On another note, we secured the lease on my new place. It's in Sherman Oaks. We are free to move in in 2 days. So, maybe NEXT Thursday, we can crash my new place if it doesn't work out this week... or we can wait until I get some furniture and a grill. There should be ample street parking on my street, and we could do the grill out thing (or save it for a weekend).

sounds good rob. i can't really think of any places in l.a. at the moment... i used to live in the not so nice part so any places i can think of aren't exactly that savvy.
