Thanks to addict's nav, we were able to check by Sonic to see if people went there, then go back to the StarBucks to meet back up.

hey guys, i finaly got the intake prototype II intalled today like i said...(short ram this time).....and the result is.....................i dont see any idling problems yet.....still testing...the sound is freaking awesome, this thing can really scream!!!!!!! i think its the same OR even louder than the KNN, the shielding problem i solved! i went to home depot and got aluminum sheet metal and fabricated a heat shield. it looks just like the RE shield......ill get it ready for next weeks meet! ( show wise....the intake looks bad ***!)

 

i got my new intake to show off this thursday! no more fullerton guys, too much trouble

 

Even if the guys are hungry.. we can stop by the In N Out next to Buena Park/Cypress area down the street... the Fullerton place is just ghetto. If I was younger, I wouldn't mind... but getting stupid fix it tix, and having the cops yell "You kids go home.." Is blah.

 

Did you get a fix it ticket?! If so, I didn't hear about it.

 

I mean I use to get fix it tix there all the time before... now... the only tix I "could" get is no front plate. CHP is usually on top of that one. For modified exhausts, even if it's not pass the sound decible, and it's smog legal, they will write you up for one just so you HAVE to prove it passes those two things. At least that has been since '95-'96.

 

lame lame. i think half of the money CA needs comes from Automotive related things...such as modifications and all, so they shouldnt bitch

not to be bad mouthing or anything, but i think Aeroworks should have done a better job........ thats all.. your car looks awesome mike....just that kit wasnt the best of quality....cho agrees lol.......(Cho) man, mr HKS intake is really taking this intake talk seriously! lol, i guess he loves his HKS intake....i think he stressed the word "quality!" .........what ever....its just a noise maker! lol.....but mine just does it better and way cheaper......+ it looks good too......dont you guys think? im thinking of making a kit or 2, and see if it sells.... its not gonna be as high priced as SR and HKS
