nOOb looking into the world of the rotary

What's up guys and gals. Nice place here, lots of information. I'm contemplating dropping my 03 MINI next year after it's paid off and mebbe getting an RX8. The Rotary has always intersted me, so I figured, why not join an RX8 fourm.

I'm into autocrossing, I've seen a few RX8's out on course before and was really impressed. So don't mind me while I peek around and learn. I live in SoCal so I'll try and make some of the local meets.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, I didn't see any sort of introduction section.

hi and welcome, there is a ton of information, but just as fair warning, there's some asshats in here as well. but if you can stomach all that, it'll be all good. you should probably go to one of the local meets that they have going on every weekend or so, but i'm sure taj or se3p will chime in eventually.

Hi The 8's a nice car if you don't mind the lack of torque. It's not really maintenance heavy like all the previous rotaries; the only thing you have to worry about is oil consumption. It's a fun and unique car to drive, sure to turn heads everywhere.

Thumbs up Re:

If you're in to autocrossing, it was an RX-8 that won the National Championship for Stock B class last year, beating out the 350Zs.
