Hello Everyone,

On 12-23-06 I totaled My Celica. I walked away from it with no injuries (thank god). A week later I Purchased a 2004 RX-8 Gray color.

I'm really surprised as to how smooth this car is. Even at high speeds, you can still barely hear the engine. My first U-turn in this car I fish tailed it, I was so used to having the front wheel drive Celica Gts. I used to go to Celica car meets, but now i'm a RX-8 owner, and wondering if you guys ever do meets in Vegas.

just out of curiosity, how many miles do you have on your rx8, and is it an automatic, or manual?

 

That sucks to hear about the Celica, but glad that you got yourself a new 8! Welcome to the forums..

 

I almost have 31k miles on it, and it is a 6 speed Manual w/ leather interior and 18'' wheels, and the nice Bose audio system it has.

What type of wheels do you have on your car? Got any pictures of the new ride yet?

 

The 18'' wheels that it has came with the car, stock 18's. I have not taken any pictures yet, i've been wanting to go out to the red rock for the setting, but its just been too cold outside.

Not many 8's, I think the local 8's post here more than on vegasrotary.com But, I've never been to their meets, so I can't say if there is any 8's there at the meet.
