name's Lauren, i also go by Cody, I just picked up a 6 spd 04 RX-8 that's already modded to replace my two other vehicles. Im a DSM girl who's converting to the dark side. I love my turbo awd, but i got tired of jackstands and just wanted something i can enjoy. I found alot of helpful info on this forum while researching my new purchase.

is there anything else i need to be aware of besides bad gas mileage, burning oil, and all of avoidable damages which started all of the shittalk on 8's when they were first released?

also, im new to the Los Angeles area as i just moved from Texas in May, so id love to know where all the tracks and meet spots are. thanks in advance everyone.

My eclipse GSX (6 bolt swap, 16g, full 3" custom exhaust, ported exh mani and 1g ported intake mani, Greddy Oil cooler kit, Spearco FMIC, 19's, blah blah blah etc etc, lots of schtuff)

Nice to have you on the Rotorhead team and in So-Cal. Depending on which part of So-Cal you are calling home now there are a wide variety of meets going on usually every weekend .

i JUST bought the car Friday so i believe you are thinking of the last owner, he sold it b/c he had to park it on the street. It gets locked up nice and safe now :D
