well fellas talking about whoring. I went to my local Nissan Dealer to trade in my WRX wagon for a black RX-8. I couldn't refuse the deal I got out of this so I end up getting it instead. Kinda feel odd charing this with you guys since you are rotary guys. I still want my rotary car but is will have to be another FD.

wow, congrats on the new ride rick! now u have something to drive to malibu cruise again
so is it a 2004? am just curious, because i thought z's go for around mid/ high 30's new. if the dealer let a 3-year old car go for 18.7 otd, then they must depreciate almost as much as 8's?

Well the sale manager and I have a little agreement. I bring him customers. At work people come to me for info about buying cars, don't know why though, they just do. Also it is easier to play with the price on an used car that a new.
Well so far I like the torque, but it has it draw backs. It likes to go sideways and the traction control is not as fast to kick in like the 8. The 8 and the 350z have pretty much the same handling characteristic, but the 8 was easier to control and predict stock for stock. The also comes with better sized rims and tires so that helps a lot. I like the power band of the 8 better because is more usable. The Z is more powerful, no ifs about it. But I guess I have to learn to drive this one and get use to the torque and get some biger rims and tires. I also like how roomy it is in the inside for a 2 seater. If you like good communication between the car and the driver avoid the 07 Z. I think they are softer and not as much torque. They are also kind of lagy when floored at low rpms. That,s why I took the 04 because it has better responce. Gas milage is actually good. I think is better than the 330i.

nice! although they drive very differently, i'd say the 8 & 3-series both have good car-to-driver communication. handling-wise, the 8 is just easier to drive- though the suspension on the 3 is softer and rides more comfortably.
