yeah i heard about that on the radio this morning, cray **** racing in piticular with such expensive cars. were there any pictures in the paper?

 

It looks like the 4th would be a good day to make it. I still would like to have some one to lead the group and have a good # of people go.

Decker Road is one of the roads we have frequented, but there is no way they were racing down that road. They were on PCH.

 

Steak and lobster? i was thinking more along the lines of a few dollars to get a couple of chicken sandwiches from the dollar menu at mcdonalds but that works too. i do everything, and a good job too! see look at my babies after a wash.

that CYM makes me regret my FD, they are love hate relationships as i'm sure you know as an ex owner. what prompted you to give it up?

and you'd be amazed how those factory dark chromes make the car look so much better, that picture gives it no justice at all(they're for sale btw ;D)

 

To tell you hte truth I really don't know why I sold it. I think because I needed to get the turbos replaced and I wanted to go single. I was already $11k deep investing into the car (car was paid off) and looking into another $6k going into it kind of buged me. But when I look back and look at the pictures, I'm like WHY?!!. Hey at least I got some good money out of it.

 

When do you plan to organize the rally drive?

hmm... well, i'm working on 3/5. maybe this month i can try to make the san bernardino cruise if malibu is pushed back. the pictures from that one looked great.

 

11k is change on a FD that runs decent, unless you're talking about 11k after the cost of the car just trying to keep it to run, in which case that would be crazy. and 6-9 is about the typical setup costs for a single. do you have a longer rotary history or was that FD your first?

i was just ripping it up running with an s2000 at mullholland west (stunt schueren piuma cold cyn) and we didnt see one cop. that took place at the northern section near decker so if we were to do it it would be best to stay south

 

I got the car for 13k in almost showroom conditions. the only down fall was the tipical peeling of the interior and wear and tear of the leather seats. $11k was in upgrades. rims and tires combo was only worth $4.5k. This was my third FD also. My family has a history of RX-3's and FB's.

I am Puertorican so you know how that goes.
