Great meet guys, I'm sure I'll be there earlyer next time. this time I wont eat befor I got there, this way I can hang out with you guys longer. I just to confirm a few years ago when I use to hang out at the arcade I they would leave the gate open after 10:00 and we wouldent have to pay for the parking fee. Lets hope that's still going on.

We're def gonna be on schedule for the next meet, 1st saturday of the month. However if you'd like to join us on a cruise - we usually try and have one every other friday.

 

So where's this cruise you're talking about hahaha sounds like a lot of fun!!!

 

sometimes we have a cruise from autobacs to pch to the 133 to the 405 and back.....its really fun, you should come down and check it out....look at the autobacs rotary meet thread.

i'm thinking PCH to 133 to 405 to Irvine (my job site) then alertos haha

 

I can really go for some Alertos right now... there's barely anything open at 3:10 am...

 

anything that requires the 405 parking lot is off my cruise list...

what about setting up a canyon cruise into angeles crest national forest? (ie off the 210 west just off montrose.) i went there last summer and only saw 1 copper on the way out and very few cars and wider roads than malibu canyon.

 

^really? the 405 is bad? the transistion from the 133 to the 405 to my exit isn't long, and it's pretty dead on the weekends

i'm looking to set this up on the last saturday of every month -

as far as scenery, i plan on starting this at autobac's then down beach to pch - then up thru the 133 - then the 405 to irvine (my parking garage area) from there it'll be up to you guys - irvine spectrum is right there. - i'm gonna take a short vid to show you guys a brief summary of what to expect

Reason: it's far easier to film in the day light and i get better quality in the day

whats up everyone? glad er-one seems to like the meet. couldn't be happier to hear that.


but like my original intention which didn't get to be played out fully that night... i will still like to try to provide on the next meet... there's so much in that area to take advantage of. like JDM literature,magazines, and entertainment.
any interested in getting JDM car mags and videos pls ask me, i'll be more than welcome to introduce to the bookstore around there where i worked long time ago.

at any rate, what i'll bring to the next meet will be the same. a dvd player and "rotary re-born" video, maybe some snacks/popcorn, hyperrev RX8 mag, or some other random car mag.

*and another idea: any interested in sharing small DIY mod with others that may be interested in "raffling" out their great mod and have fun doing it, please come talk to me and we can set something up. ( i will take NO cut in the product, this is only for the seller's benefit and proceeds are only to the seller, and to encourage mod ideas for the community, which I myself had the idea to do.

no biggie...whoever likes to chill and cruise to the meets, we not so far away form each other...so maybe srtting something up to ride to the meet together would be great.

guys, i think we may also have an alternating alternative for other exciting meets to roll along with this monthly tokyo meet. just got a word on "plans" from leon(SA RX7) that he's looking into a del-amo location meet.

plans and date are unsure... this is just a rumor as of now. but if he has the setting and schedule down right, i'll support him for the meet. we'll see.
if it goes thru, we may have something to do every week/weekend.

hope to see his post up soon to see what his plans are if he does develope something...

 

NP, Lets see when the it's going on and if i'm available during that time. It's really easy to get there. From Walnut it will be about 30 - 35 min drive.
