Hahahaha No problem. Just wanted to make sure I don't ruin this meet for anyone. If anything I just hate it when others cap on someone else's ride. I went to a Accord meet once and they were making fun of my car and said the rotary sounds like a scooter.

 

TrochoidMagic(your host): will have a car duster and possibly bring a lil bit of diluted zymol wax for last minute shine for photo shots...feel free to come by, introduce urself, watch a movie, or borrow the duster for touch-up.

Atilla(ur co-host): <---if he doesn't mind me quoting him as such... will be our video man/camera man.

so far, lets wait for the meet to happen. we'll decide if its fun enough to host or keep permanent for the future...by then we can possibly have some games or raffles.

 

^^and their point is??? anyways, we won't have that **** here. and hopefully we don't.... i came from a honda crowd. hell...look into my profile, i'm more fluent in honda talk. but thats not to say sometimes ricers are associated with that kinda group. they are stuck up. but with the 8 being a mature car of choice, i hope we can have a decent gathering w/o the "2 grand racer: race one today and build another 2morrow" crowd.

you can't blame the brand...they are cheap and easy to make fast, no matter what kinda imitation crap you put on them. those motors just keep asking for more.

anyway, keep that attitude to where it belongs and you'll be fine.

i had fun meet was tight.

 

i'm back! and the first thing is to address the meet.
its was a great turn-out. thanks everyone for feeling it out with me..... the first is always full of surprises.

but now that we got the approval from "pedro" (our agitated security guard) to hang out on the top floor, we'll definitely play by his words. and YES, it DID rain! but we'll be good if we park by the end of 4th floor next time if it does rain.

so far, everyone likes the location...and we won't have to deal with the headaches next time around. for those that stayed...the "weiland" bar is a nice lounge. it gets busy, and always with a mixed crowd. and we can't forget how funky it is seeing all those JDM harajuku girls at the plaza. it was HOT! the restaurant was good eats huh guys? the ramen place is better! we'll have to manage for the next time so we can all go eat... it was a huge crowd.

and also yellowrx helped conclude on the parking situation... the gate does stay open ~ sometime after 10-10:30...right? either way, get a validation early if not planning to stay long, for good measure. after 11pm, it really don't matter as most-to-all shops close and the gates stay open. so no need for validation.

-first and foremost, thanks to my co-host Atilla for the photo shots. hope u know how to get to the spot next time... i feel bad for ur late arrival.

-Se3p: i feel bad for ur incident with ur car. i hope u ain't scared of the parking structure... respect the structure, and it'll respect u. anyways, it was kinda dark... just be careful though. its kinda tricky, and we're all eager.

- SA: thanks for showing up with u're crew! the RX7 guys are always welcome as our extended rotary family. and i really hope u had stayed around longer... we had fun as a group when all the drama passed. and u being my witness, we worked it out for next time...just gotta play by the rules. but its all cool, this meet really blew up like mad!

now that evereythings settled, i'm gonna feel out how you guys feel about the place. i definitely gotta get those committed for part deux to get it written down in stone. and from the turn-out... it seems promising.

so for the next month, the "real" fun will begin. and what i didn't get to do today, i have planned for the next meet. ( photo shoot, raffle, select cleanest car of the month, etc.)

it definitely turn out to be more heads than the poll states. so give your feed-backs and stayed tuned for the next episode!

 

again, thanks for all those that see it thru with me on what i wanted to accomplish. it truly was a great spot...just didn't need all the unnecessary hassle that eventually got cleared up. and hope "pedro" sticks to his words.

i'm really looking forward towards next month's meet. and i do feel bad for being a bad host...

and for those who actually liked the spot, i sincerely ask for your continued support for future meets.

i ask not for myself, but for the benefit of the community. so for those that like to see more of this and me as a host, i hope all y'all speak up about it. and i hope to carry out more fun&games and activities when the next meet allows.

AWESOME MEET!! it was exciting..paying a $10.50 fee for parking..watching trochoidmagic and dozer get into it with the rent-a-cop ....but yea...definitly should do it again...quite a few of us showed up surprisingly...even the 7 guys

Thought that went awesome! Really good for a first time meet too! Really slick how u got Pedro to agree to the top floor, that was bad ***. Yeah, the 7 guys came in one car to check it out first since we were told that the roads were full of pot holes and crap, which wasn't true at all. So our 20+ year old rotary's won't get our screws and bolts losened after all. But again, since we came together, I had to follow them to go eat ramen then we got separated, by the time we got back, we saw a bunch of empty rx8's so we left. But expect to see the same group next time.
