i prefer driving at night much more than driving during the day. IMO worst time to drive is during twilight. you get all the glare in all the worst places making driving really difficult

Less traffic at night. Driving at night is kind of nice because you only see what you need to....in front of you. Makes it easier for me to focus.

Hi guys,
I live in Playa. I'll really try to get to the Ralph's meeting in Dec. Glad to know there's a bunch of us 8s in the neighborhood. My plate is BCEENGU but I'm not the Miata owner you might have seen at Moe's...

sorry to see the pics Rodger. I can't imagine this would have been less likely at night however. I feel just the complete opposite about night driving. I feel it is worse because your depth perception is off, because you only can see infront of you. If you are talking about aggressive driving, the only area you need to be aware of is the section of road ahead of the section you see directly infront. I really heavily on my nav system to let me set up corners and to monitor what is coming up.

I've gone on only one night drive that I would consider aggressive. I would never do it again as it didn't fit my driving style. I rely too much on seeing what is ahead of me, rather than what is directly infront of me.

I guess people drive differently.

I was not driving that car... The owner of that celica is the guy you met with the M3. I don't remember for sure which road it was, I'd have to look at a map. We went back home and got my jeep because it has a wench on it. We pulled him about 50 feet when his car hit a tree part way up the cliff, at which point we kept pulling because we had nothing to loose. The car ended up getting wrapped around the tree where it hung for a good while, until falling further down the hill.

Don't under estimate the power of a CJ-7 with a wench!

Keith, everyone drives different and I can see where you are coming from. I didn't have my nav last time I went. It would be cool to see the turns before I came up on them though, I can do a cool 3D view which would be awesome for this. (thinking)

definately, I wish I had your nav program in mine. That 3d angle is awsome.

yah.. when driving at high speeds.. you need to see far down the road in order to setup your turn properly...

18's because I just bought new tires. They have to order the 18's so it will take a few weeks.
