the whole trip took about four hrs. but there stops to and from plus we stopped and had lunch. it may seem long when your not there, but trust me you'll feel that time flew by if and when you take this cruz. by the way a local meet is good, but at nine at nite where? are we going to go without lax police,inglewood police, el segundo police, and my buddies the lapd breathing down our rx8 necks...

 

Think about that from the other side...imagine you walked out to your car to find a note saying meet me on the roof of Ralph's.....sounds rather odd. You may want to refer them to the web site.

Hey, speaking of leaving notes ...Meet me at the Mobil gas station on Las Virgenes (Malibu) next month...it'll be well worth your drive out.

 

why don't you go to the next LAX meet w/me kwescott? if you want to go, meet me at PC Club out in Montclair around 8:15pm or so if you're interested. we'd really like for more peeps to go .

LAX meet in da house!!

 

Problem is that I work in La Puente until 4:00. I don't want to drive from Fontana to work, then back home, and back to LA....too much driving. I'll have to meet up with you guys at another event, or at the next Malibu meet.

So i've been to lax meet and the malibu meet...

and i have to say.. we got to chat a lot more at the lax meet...

but holy crap the malibu meet was so much more fun driving.... omg... i'm still thinking about those twisties... wow...

lax crew... we must go to up to malibu.. you're only missing out on letting your 8 really show you things you've never experienced....

 

i,ve been on the malibu run 4 times, and it never gets old. there's no where in the city that you can get a good run. you should aleast take your car up there just to see the roads. but it is so much better when your running in a pack with other cars.

 

i've been to the torrance meet many times, the tustin meet twice, the valley meet, and the LAX meet...need to check out the bernardino meet once..

 

That wasn't the whole note.......what i told u i had.......... i actually left the rx8club forum url on there told them to go to the west forum...my phone number and name if their interested in going and if i catch the person i talk to them directly and ya know i think im good on that malibu thing but Whuddup LAx peepz..... lol but gerael we can jus find a spot to drive!

hrm... find a spot.. hrm hrm... i have no ideas where man...

nothing i've ever been on compares to malibu at all....

i would advise getting to know your 8 much much better.. and be able to shift smoother and just get used to driving twisties before going on the malibu run.... unless you just drive in the very back... which is pretty slow.. but still pretty fast for a beginner...

or you can go and just ride with somebody.. and check it out... i kinda wanna ride next time... out in front... hehe... or maybe skip around and hop in different peoples cars and check em out...

but damn it was fun.. and fast... kinda scary... especially 2 way - 1 lane highway...

Who said we can't have our own fun? I would much rather do some tapanga runs with people from our own lax meet... family thing, i can't explain.

So should we do this on the weekend or on our normal wed nights? FYI- there would be less traffic at night. I don;t how you all feel about drive at night though.

So lets vote wether or not we are going to do this on our normal meet time or if we are going to set up a weekend day.

 

the normal time would be best for me......well actually, anyday anytime after 8:30 would be best for me

 

lol... i would love it if xrider01 could come.... however i'd probably only drive during a day run...

i could ride with somebody else though if u guys wanna do a night run...

maybe bring a helmet.. and a first aid kit...some road flares... u know.. basic "gone off a cliff" gear

 

don't forget a parachute and the seat ejection button.
